most anime originated from manga, it depends for the Anime company to follow the footstep from the manga, or theyl make an extra scene, filler, or change the story a little... and such...

well so far ive seen, the anime is usually differnt than the manga example: special a, they skipped out a lot of scenes that the manga had, which the anime didnt have. i like manga better honestly b/c they can show things anime cant leave that for a thought

they insert some filler.. and i hate fillers coz the drawings are so ugly..

Yeah it is
I think in special A "Hayama Kei" was suppose to have blond hair but they gave him brown in the anime.
So sometimes the characters look different from the manga.
Also sometimes the episodes aren't in the same order as the manga.

whose hayama kei ? i thought its takishima kei ? o.o
anywae on topic : some manga are way better then anime cause some anime will have fillers in it.

For me it depends on the original media for which it was produced (for example those written as light novels[Shakugan no Shana, Zero no Tsukaima, Crest of the Stars] are better as anime as compared to manga[still best as a light novel though], while those of manga origin[Bleach, Naruto, d. gray man, Full Metal Alchemist] are best as a manga, and those that begin as anime are usually best as anime; visual novels[Kanon, Utawarerumono{technichally a game but close enough}] too)
So manga original as manga, light novel as anime, visual novel as anime, and anime as anime.
