Please help I need these updating and would love any suggestions that you may have, am very open minded. The Dolphin can go completely but I am fond of the other two.

I think that those are pretty nice as far as designs go, and can easily be spiffed up. (especially your two favs...) The line work looks fine, I think that your flowers (or are they clovers?) need some vibrant color!! Brighten em up. The Budda is so cute, I think a japanese style aura/cloud/swirl (?) surrounding him in colors would be neat! The dolphin could be on a wave, biut he's kinda small looks like, maybe leave him be....or add another two dolphins, each one bigger, following him...

I'd add japanese style clouds above the buddha and japanese style waves below. I'd also add a giant lotus flower in the background.

Hey! You could also have them overlaid with another (custom) tat that hints of the old one! Like for example You could turn your budda into a wall fountain and a good tat artist should be able to Age or Patina it you know what I mean to look like an old fountain. Or phase him out like a dream then use that tat to spur your next tat off of!
