Who are the trend-setting celebs, in your opinion, in any generation? Example, when this celeb wears this or that, people usually copy that style? When this celeb drinks this or that? etc...

my choices (although quite old)

1. Demi Moore's haircut in the movie Ghost
2. Princess Diana's hairstyle and clothes
3. Madonna - many artists are Madonna wannabes

Right now, I guess Kate Moss and Vic Beckham. I hate them both though.
Oh, and girls think Amy Winehouse is cool, even though she looks like a scary bitch

Not really DBSK or Big Bang.....
in case you haven't noticed, almost all the boybands have a similar style....there are some differences, but boybands all sort of the cookie-cutter types....and they have stylists...

The first one that popped into my head was Chris Lee. She really broke the mold for the Chinese music industry. I think she showed people that it's okay to be different, to not be hot or cute, but yourself. Even though she gets a lot of crap about people saying that she's "lesbian" just because she dresses like a guy, she chose to be her self, and she gets a lot of credit for doing it. I mean, in a Children's book in the US about China, she was the only living person other than Yao Ming to be mentioned.

The only other Asian "trendsetter" I can think of is Jay Chou, music-wise for combining Chinese elements with pop. Other than them, most people are pretty much the same....
