Please read and understand the first post, replying random comments that were already stated in the first post would only make you look stupid. Please be aware of the purpose, procedure and rules of this thread.

Do NOT be off-topic! Inform, do not flame! Only idiots flame, real people would be enthusiastic and would like to share. So share and inform. However, please be reliable and coherent! Make sure to CONSULT a specialist before following anything(medically related to your illness or whatsoever) posted in this thread!

Purpose:

- To inform CR members about health, diseases, treatments, first aid actions and etc.
- To broaden our (CR members) understanding about the medical industry.
- To help those who are aiming for the medical field voice out there opinions.
- To help those who are willing to learn, maybe you can use the information posted here by CR members for your own reference or data for future projects and such.

Procedure and Rules:

- You can post anything you know about diseases (and their symptoms), treatments, first aid, and etc.
- Please make sure that your words are reliable. Do NOT post that the cure for depression is suicide! Please refrain from being stupid and being a jerk!
- If you are bothered about your health, and if symptoms of unexplainable causes are occurring to you, you may ask here and I hope someone knowledgeable enough will be able to help you. I would recommend (or highly suggest) going to the doctor if your problem is serious (an even if it is not, just be sure to take care of your health and go to a doctor).
- There is a group, the "Crunchyroll Clinic." However, it is only for those who care and wish to share more and know more. You must PM if you want to be invited.

Some helpful Links:
(Always refer to two or more sites for valid information. Make sure that those sites are reliable!)

- MayoClinic: (HonCode Accredited [reliable])
http://www.mayoclinic.com/
- WebMD: (URAC, TRUSTe, HONCode Accredited [reliable])
http://www.webmd.com/
- MedicineNet: (HonCode Accredited [reliable])
http://symptoms.webmd.com/
- HealthLine:
http://www.healthline.com/symptomsearch
- Healthdotcom
http://www.health.com/health/
- Healthdotgov
http://www.health.gov/default.asp

Remember that an information will be only reliable when it is proven and is endorsed many many times! Do not believe without proof! Always consult an expert!

This thread or its creator will NOT be liable to any damages caused or done by some idiot regarding his/her or someone's post in this thread. Again, as I have said, this is only to inform, and to help broaden our knowledge. Do NOT, I repeat, do NOT(or NEVER) ever post a stupid treatment that you developed. Always provide proof and always ask if you are unsure about someone's post. I would gladly help and refer you to more knowledgeable peers.

(Note: I hope that this is not a duplicate. I was quite hesitant on doing this because some people are just err... Anyhow, help me build the Crunchyroll Clinic. XD)

I find this quite interesting...

Let's see... I want to become an emergency physician who specializes on Cardiothoracic surgery (Cardiac surgery and thoracic surgery)

I'll put the diseases later, I have to go to the supermarket for my grandma.

Having a teddy bear in my avi and a colorful fresh green background does not make me nice! So you better follow the rules, and never flame! Let those who are willing provide information! Let those who are smart and enthusiastic, broaden their knowledge.

I thought that this thread would be quite interesting. Just think that we are playing a game, a doctor doctor game. You can also broaden your medical knowledge through this.

As the purpose states, this thread is to INFORM. Please do NOT post random opinions, we want facts! To inform us!

This is NOT a forum game! This is a discussion thread where people discuss about their medical knowledge and information. Sorry, but I will have to report you for being off-topic.

And for crying out loud, read the post! If you are pessimistic, go somewhere else.

Have you never played a PRETEND-to-be-a-doctor game when you were younger? I was referring to that, NOT a foum game.

Yeah I agree with this.

If you need some kind of treatment you shouldn't be coming to the internet to find the answers. Doctors exist for a reason.

Edit to above: Sry I misunderstood but, I can do whatever I want.

Edit to above again: No I avoid people with stethoscopes, esp if they're fakes.

Edit: Since you're serious, esp concerning quality- how bout making a group then? If you make this a group you could expand this, and it would be easier to keep track of what information is reliable and what is not.

Edit: So you did make a group - coolbeans. I really do think that will help get you the quality you're looking for in this.

I know O_O. But you really have to love what you're doing. I mean , the doctors live with everyday pressure, sleepless nights, and rare are those with normal lifes. Anyways... Good luck! ^^ What's Mac ?

hmmmm.....interesting....i find this kinda cool....

well im not getting into the medical field well kinda im studying for pharmacy tech.....

but anyways now that im here i'll post something....as you know kids with ADHD are like hyperactive and low attention spans....well the meds you give them has speed which pretty much cancels out the imbalance....something else you can use (if you have little brothers/sisters with ADHD) is mountain Dew CODE RED....it has so much caffeine it dulls out the chemical imbalance and serves for calming down the kid...i found that interesting....
