i haven't seen any story plot that involves a person who meets another person whomhe/she would fall in love with, but without his/her knowledge, would turn out to be his/her step-parent. Could you tell me if there is such a story already produced?

I have not seen a series with a step-parent plot but I have read a lot of manga about that.

Definately Boku wa Imouto ni Koi wo Suru / I Love My Younger Sister
This movie is without a doubt taboo, the title itself tells you lol. Unlike in Devil Beside You the siblings ARE blood related yet they have a romantic relationship. If that isn't forbidden love I don't know what is

Yeah Devil beside you wasnt THAT forbidden.....but this is just sick >_>

Typhoon of Last Summer
Loved this drama up until the last stretch before the end, it was painful watching it through the end. The story starts off with a pregnant super star braving the typhoon to catch her director husband having an affair with an up and coming starlet, and gives birth ahead of schedule.
20 yrs later, Kang Soo-min finds herself under the employ of a young director who is connected with Soo-min's unknown half-sister. Through her work she was forced to stalk and get close to producer James Han. The two eventually fall in love while the the young director tries to get Soo-min for himself. Later, Soo-Min discovers a talent in acting and soon competes with Han Eun-Bi, to whom she share the same father, but different mothers. Both strive to become actresses. Eun-Bi rises in the entertainment industry because of her mother, a famous actress. However, Soo-Min has to give it her all to get to the top. Soo-min attains stardom with the support of her lover James Han and the young director. But the return of her vengeful mother and the revelation of her secrets breaks Soo-mins world apart.
About several episodes towards the end, I found out that Soo-min and James Han actually are 100% siblings separated by the Typhoon of Last Summer.

Urm I was wondering about Kou Kou Kyoushi the 2003 version. I looked it up, and the story looks very interesting, but I'm not a fan of sad ending, so anybody can tell me the ending of this series?
The storyline is very interesting and I LOVE Fujiki Naohito

Oh yeah, I dont mind spoilers. I love them in fact.

There's this drama called Ice Girl.

It's about this girl who was dying on the day she was supposed to marry her boyfriend. Her father, who is a scientist, knew there was no hope & in his desperation decided to use his new untested scientific experiment on her. She's sort of kept preserved to be resusitated later on when he find the cure to her ailment. He did that about 25 years later. When she was resusitated she remained as youthful as she was before but she lost all her memory. Her father gave her a new identity. Later, she fell in love with a young man who turn out to be the son of the guy she was supposed to marry 25 years ago... When the guy's father saw her, of course he could recognise her as he still love her. Imagine his shock!!! He thought she's dead... To complicate matter, as his son became so deep in love with the girl, her past memory started to come back slowly to her...

If you're interested so far, watch it to find out what happened in the end...

I actually liked Devil Beside You a whole lot, but I recently got into series like Anego that have older women with younger guys. But this series was so incredibly good that I just couldn't feel prejudiced about it.

Now... Majo no Jouken, that might be a little too dark for me to want to watch right now, because some terrible things happen because of this forbidden relationship. What's really ironic is that the theme song to this series is First Love, by Utada Hikaru, and if you've ever listened to this song, it is so pure and sweet, it's almost unfitting for such a dark series.

you're right...Takizawa Hideaki shone in that movie...it's a sad but ok movie...i cried when sensei's dad could not accept her when she needed help in her most delicate condition...parents are supposed to be there when their chidren are in their downest (is there such a word?) moments...

"Butterfly Lovers" (1994 version) - staring Nikki Wu. It's the best and saddest version I've seen so far.

actually, if you watch it till the end, you'd see that the lyrics is very appropriate for the drama.

heres a real sppoiler so stop reading if you wanna watch majo no jouken

she died in the end but the lyrics say that even though she's gone, she would always be his first love and so etched in his memory forever. she taught him how to love but theirs is a bitter-sweet love story, like a painful song because it ended and she was gone. but he shall love her forever. okay , i kinda quoted some lines from the song. it's a great story though, loved it

i'm watching Majo no Jouken, a jdrama which tackles about the forbidden love between a 19 y/o student and his 26 y/o teacher...it's taboo for teachers to have love affairs w/ their students...

can you please list the titles of dramas/movies which run on the same line?
and if it's possible, give a brief description why they are considered forbidden? these dramas may not necessarily be love stories...

thank you...

I think nothing wrong with that.
Personally..age doesn't matter as long as they love each other. That's more than enough...

Another one is What's Up, Fox?

It's about a relationship between a woman & a man nine years younger than her... Of course, all their loved ones objected & are against them being together... To make matter worse, the woman & the man's sister are actually best friends & they grew up together. So the lady actually watched the guy grew up... So in a way she's like his older sister...
