The Filipino one is very funny. Other than that, I like seeing Regine and Mark Anthony kiss! Have you seen last night's epi? Super kilig!

i don't wanna watch the Filipino version even though i am a Filipino...

then why are you on this drama's posts? doesn't it mean you are interested too? or are you just one of those filipinos infected with the lethal crab mentality who wants to take everybody down with them? think about it, it's really simple.. coz i will appreciate it if you criticize the drama rather than say you're not gonna watch it coz it really is pointless saying that..

remakes don't mean to compete with the original, it is to adapt it to either the location it will be shown or the viewers who will watch it, and with the current trend..

it was never a competition in the first place, only narrow minded people will think of it that way..

for all those who say this sucks compared to the original, watch my sassy girl hollywood, and watch il mare korea.. it was made according to who's gonna watch it, my sassy girl was made differently so that american viewers can relate to the humors, and il mare was made so that koreans can understand the story more and add a touch of korea in to the movie, rather than following the original story w/c is a copy of The Lake House..

in simple words this remake was made for filipinos to enjoy, and filipinos are naturally exaggerated, just like how filipinos exaggerate on their comments on this drama.. would it be better if we see regine crying with a bibimbap on her hands and some kimchi on the side? wouldn't it look weird if we see some snow scenes in makati?

think about it people and then you comment, don't just open your mouth to prove you can talk but use it wisely to prove you have a brain.. thanks

Although a bit harsh..hehe... you raised a very good point. =) It really has to fit the Filipino culture just like how they made Samsoon fat because in the Filipino sense, Kim Sun Ah would still be considered THIN in the Philippines. Probably, even anorexic. Cultural context of beauty

They never ran out of punchlines. Haha. I'm glad the comedy has been consistent enough.

i love both...though i love kim sun ah, the romantic comedy queen in Korea (actually at first, I cannot understand why they chose regine to do this role, I think there's a better actress in channel 7)...well, regine did a very good performance in the drama, and yes filipino dramas are really OA than other Asian dramas. You could see the overdoing of punchlines and overdoing of crying scene~well, that's Filipino culture. You may not understand it, but that's how we are. These two dramas are the same and unique at the same time. The same plot, but different level of suitability to each culture. I believe Mark has done justice in Hyun Bin's role, he's even better than Hyun Bin. He's more handsome than Hyun Bin, too. Just love Mark here. I never liked him before, but when I saw this drama, I really like him.
I can say that I like both.

@katie26, true at first i also wondered why did they choose regine for the role. it'll be better if it's rufa mae which is really a comedian actor. but still, as the episodes progresses, you'll have the fondness for regine's character as kim samsoon...

enjoy watching.

wow, this is like the nth time that I heard that mark did a better job than Hyun Bin. As someone who has not seen the original, I can't really compare --well-performance-wise but I afgree that Mark is more good-looking! haha. I think Regine was perfect for the role. I could not think of any actress that could pull this through and most importantly HAVE THE 'IT'(CHEMISTRY) WITH MARK.

Seriously, Regine and Mark have the best chemistry in our local industry
