Only a day has passed and there's stuff all over the web about this new browser.

Comparison of the performance of operations between Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Microsoft Internet Explorer

Try it yourself
http://wd-testnet.world-direct.at/mozilla/dhtml/funo/jsTimeTest.htm
lol @ IE

Actually... that IE doesn't seem to be the new one
Anyone using IE8 ? Someone go to that website and test it out with the new one.
That may be using way less resources than Chrome and Firefox

My only beef with Chrome.
Even though it seems to use less resources than other web browsers
Sometimes when using it, my computer makes that 'busy' sound with the LED flashing aswell
and it sometimes does it for quite a while.

Anybody getting that?
Iunno, maybe it's not Chrome , but something else I'm running.

All it needs is plugins and I, I think I'm ready to use it instead of Firefox

Check the Processes in the windows task bar manager.

here's mine.

seems that there are 3 processes running Google Chrome. whereas firefox is just one big one.

i dunno how that resorts to less resources..

^ Yeah I was looking at that.
For every tab Chrome has, it opens a new process
I worded that badly, not resources.

In my processes. Firefox has around 180,000 K mem usage -_-"
Which I'm guessing is probably my plugins

An interesting read about Chrome. I think I'll stick with Firefox.

i think thats referring to the open source bit. you don't need to worry about that if you're not going to modify it..

but i'm not 100% sure.
