Well soem years ago i was in tunisia with my family. It was great, sun was shining, ppl were nice and i was windsurfing everyday....UNTILL one day i went windsurfing, surrpisingly i was the only one out there( normally more than 10 ppl) so iathought "Cool! The Sea Is Mine!"....about 1 mile off the coast i saw a huge white plastic bag swimming under my board, i was like "wtf ?! whos poluting my sea?!" BUT THEN hundreds of plastic bags appeard under my board....JELLYFISH!!! WTF?! thousands, it was an invasion of horny jellyfish on the way to reproduce!!! I was like "Holy ****!!" BUT THATS NOT ENOUGH after some minutes while i was turning back the winds not blowing strong enough....so i was drifting all alone on the ocean full of horny jellyfish complete helpless....it took me 2 hours to drift/paddle back to the hotel...next day i heard a fisherman died because he fell into the water full of jellyfish...

Two weeks in Scotland.

Six reasons: 1) food poisoning, 2) a bad-tempered relative, 3) the place has nothing but dumb sheep that did nothing but park themselves on a lone road for no goddamn good reason, 4) winds made windows rattle every night for two weeks, 5) those flying black gnats said hello to my skin too many times, and 6) didn't like being in Scotland

At first the idea of a cruise seemed brilliant. What could be better? Sailing to the Bahamas out of Miami. Nothing could be farther from the truth. To begin with it was the middle of hurricane season. Secondly, the ship we were sailing on was full to capacity, and not that large. Of course, the kicker, the seas were rough and choppy for the whole time. Not one person on that ship escaped sea sickness, not even the crew. That ship smelled worse than a nursing home that has been in continuous operation since the 1960's. It was the worst thing that I have ever witness happen to a group of people in an isolated and inescapable situation. And we PAID to be there...

When I was 14 we visited relatives in Dallas. I couldn't possibly tell my mom that I was going to smoke a cigarette, so I said I'd be exploring the neighbourhood. My ridiculously worried aunt made me promise I'd be back in 30 minutes and she made me wear a sticker with her address on it on my hand. Of course I took it off right after leaving the house and of course I got lost in the Dallas suburbia as every house looked the same. After 4 hours of wandering I said down beside the road to smoke another cigarette while watching lots of police cars driving by. Eventually one of them stopped and the cop asked me if I was the girl that was supposed to be back within 30 minutes. After I got in I had to listen to him laughing about how I was right around the corner of my aunt's house. I was welcomed by ca. 20 crying people wich I've never met before. Everyone was hysterical as the cops searched the house for my dead body, cause they wouldn't believe the story of me talking a walk.

Probably when I went to visit relatives in Virginia..

1. It was during a snowstorm.
2. Our car broke down on the interstate
3. No one came for 2 hours
4. My sister was sick
5. Slept over at the mechanic's b/c there weren't any motels around

It was pretty bad but oh well.

I would say when I went back home to my country Indonesia for Christmas. At first I'm all happy to get back after 2 yrs in US. Finally can meet my family and friends and especially to be able to eat my hometown food again after 2 yrs. But then It get sucks when things not really going on as I imagine because most of my friends studying abroad decided not to come back and those who are still in my hometown are to busy with school and work so I spent my first week with my family and the rest at home. Luckily I still have my family there... they are the best !!!

When I went to Florida about two years ago to attend a family reunion our car broke down on the express way. We stopped about five miles outside of some town I couldn't even remember the name of.

My mom called the AACP company and managed to have some guy from the town come and replace our tire. he was acting all funny at first not answering when we told him thankyou and then driving away so fast he almost hit us.

To make a long story short, the tire te man gave us was a flat. We had to push the car for 2 miles off the express way. when we pushed the car into a gas station it was 2 a.m. And we saw the same truck driver who had given us the flat tire. He ignored us asking him to replace our tire.

Shorty after we entered the gas station the manager kicked us out and closed the store. When we walked to the hotel the clerk refused to open the door. We had to sleep in our car in the dark all night and it was hot.

I was scared and I've never seen such open racism in my life from white people. We ended up having to have a cousin came and pick us up and take us the rest of the way.

I have a combination of the 2. My friends and me decided to go on a trip together and after endless debating I talked them all into going to Barcelona, cause I've never been there. Shortly before the trip started we got into this weird situation in which they all fell onto me and I broke my arm. So I had to stay behind while they were in Barcelona and my family in New York
