Corrected, thanks for correcting. As for theme songs, it's vital that an otaku only listen to theme songs rather than jpop / jrock, imo. If it's just japanese songs and culture, you're a japanophile rather than an anime otaku.

i got 30 or 35. im not sure whether or not ive watched over 100 animes, i dont think so but maybe ill count them later in my free time.

But the thing is, otaku isn't just reserved to anime. You can be a lolita otaku or a jrock otaku and still be an otaku.
