Calculate your score. Each question answered gives you five points! It's only a yes or a no, you don't get half points!

Start being concerned with your lifestyle when you get more than 50 points. Because that's the sign that YOU. MAY. BE. AN. OTAAAKKUUU....

Points (maximum out of 100%):
10 - Anime Watcher
20 - Anime Lover (20)
40 - Serious Anime Lover
50 - Junior Otaku / Wannabe Otaku
60 - Otaku
80 - Professional Otaku
100 - Otaku Pope

It's an Ok quiz but I don't think the list is totally accurate or complete since it really only applies to non Japanese.

Question #1: Has nothing to do with being an Otaku since "otaku" originally comes from Japanese culture anyway of course you'd speak Japanese & it would also be your first language.

Question #2: Chances are a "true" otaku would be fluent in Japanese and would be able to watch & understand RAW episodes (if not aired live) so there is no need to wait for fansubbers to sub/upload the anime. That question applies mostly to immature kids who are obsessed with a particular anime (Narutards).

Both of these questions are more related to being a Weeaboo. Any non Japanese Otaku can also usually be labeled as a Weeaboo (wannabe Japanese).

Question #16 should be written as, "More than half of your music collection is from anime soundtracks". There are some Anime themes that are not "J-pop".

Also being an Otaku doesn't mean you don't have friends or other normal social relationships. Those questions would be more indicative of a Hikki (shut-in). An Otaku can also be a Hikki & vise-versa.

Since the term Otaku is generally used to refer to those with an unhealthy addiction to anime, here is a better way to decide if you are an Otaku. Its a modified version of the NA (Narcotics Anonymous) questionnaire to determine if you are an anime addict (Otaku).
