I got 45 on my own test. I'm eeeh. Pretty close to being otaku.
Thanks everyone for your entertaining feedback! As I've sort of predicted, most people on CR are anywhere from 30-60. The Distribution is a little skewed to the lower half, but that's okay since this test isn't a serious one.
This test is for fun and not necessarily an accurate assessment of you being an otaku!

ty....alot of people put in on the first question....its so annoying....it took my dad 14 years to learn japanese and people on here learned it from watching cartoons -.- i dont think thats possible...They should be realistic 0.o.

Some of my friends learned in under a year. Took extra classes and practiced the hell out of it though. It's much easier to learn when you're a kid, too.

im talking about learning perfect japanese...not just learn it. If ur friends took it for one year, then they haven't learned perfect japanese.

I don't call myself an otaku nor would I feel like I am teh shitz for being one. I doubt I am one since i kick ass in school, have friends that i game with too.. I GET GOOD GRADEZ!!!

Anime revolves around me and my life, or the other way around maybe.
I watch it, i breathe it, without it I will die... sorta
I love the japanese culture.. so that means i will listen to their music 24/7
Only half or less of these questions only truly define an otaku...
Otherwise, scoring a 60 like me would just mean i'm very interested and its one of my fun hobbies!
