From the comeback of big stars who dominated the scene in the 1990s like Seo Taiji, Kim Gun Mo, Cool, Lee Hyori and Um Jung Hwa to the comebacks and the debuts of many idol groups like Big Bang, Dong Bang Shin Ki, SS501, WonderGirls and So Nyeo Shi Dae…
Comebacks - Dong Bang Shin Ki, SS501 etc
SS501 and Dong Bang Shin Ki will be coming back in Korea with their new Korean albums after their activities in Japan.
And for idol groups like Big Bang and FT Island, their comebacks in August have already received heat responses in terms of sales record etc.
Not forgetting the comeback of the 2 prominent girl bands WonderGirls and So Nyeo Shi Dae. They will be coming out with their respective new albums and singles in September and October.
Debuts - 2PM, U-Kiss
Not long after JYPEnt’s ‘Best Trainee’ Jo Kwon debuted in the band 2AM, another 7-member idol group 2PM from JYPEnt is set to receive much attention. Said to be the pride of JYP, 2PM will be the new faces of a new dance idol group.
Another debuting group U-Kiss with 6 members coming from different countries like Korea, Hong Kong, China etc with their debut song “Not young” is also going to be part of all the excitement in the Kpop scene this autumn.
Currently active idols VS former idols
We are set to see more of idol-actions this autumn. In particular, the members of longevity group ShinHwa Shin Hye Sung and Lee Min Woo will be releasing their comeback albums. Shin Hye Sung who is back with the British Rock “그대라서 GeuDaeRaSeo)” is already receiving very good responses from fans for his comeback album. While Lee Min Woo will be back with a new solo album in September.
Other idol-actions : Seo Taiji with his new 8th album 2nd single release and Lee Hyori moving on with the 2nd single “Hey Mr. Big” off her comeback 3rd album after “U-Go-Girl”.
Not to mention, a bunch of idol groups like Dong Bang Shin Ki, SS501, Big Bang, FT Island, SHINee, 2AM, 2PM, U-Kiss, WonderGirls, So Nyeo Shi Dae will also be back active on their promotional schedule this autumn.
Non-idols? : Rain, Jo Sung Mo, Kim Jong Kook
Though not considered as idols, big stars like Rain, Jo Sung Mo and Kim Jong Kook will also be coming back into the Kpop scene for their fans after a long time since they last met their fans on stage.
World star singer actor Rain is already in the preparation for hie new autumn special album. After the released of the special album, he will embarked on his Asia tour to different Asian cities for performances.
So are singers Jo Sung Mo and Kim Jong Kook who have completed their military services, they are already preparing for their comeback albums.
