Ryo's plan is always brilliant. He manages to manipulate people's feeling well and ends in a favorable result.

Only one hint and everything will be in place for Kasai's innocence:

This isn't really a spoiler, but I wanted to mention why Shiori's picture is on Ryo's wall.

You guys missed something very important, and it's the fact that 11 years ago Shiori testified and said she saw Tomoo's brother get stabbed and then the killer ran off. However, premonition can't be used in the court of law, and so Ryo, 11 years later, is using that to his own advantage. No matter what kind of premonitions Shiori has, they can't be used as testimony, and so that's kind of like Ryo's so-called revenge against the court system. So in sum, I don't think he wanted her to die but rather is just using her like he did with Sora-chan and her mother. And of course, his guilty conscience gets to him at times.

Yeah,Noriyoshi was just killing two birds with one stone...Great murder weapon..=) Death by poisoned cigarette..=) Kasai's kinda stuck between a rock and a hard place ne? Nowhere to go but down...

I think the reason why Shiori is on the wall is because as doesuhancho said, testimonies by psychics don't really count for much in court...So Ryo just incorporated her into his plans..Remember what Shiori said in one ep? That the murderer,Amano Makoto was possibly manipulating what she sees in her visions so that instead of helping with the investigation, Naoto falls right into Makoto's plan...That was the ep where the fat guy who was in Gokusen with Matsujun died of heart failure..Naoto didn't get to him in time because he thought Amano Makoto was targeting his father..

As for the punch,I liked the way Ryo just took it and coolly admitted to be the one behind all the manipulation...And when he said "Hurry up and catch me", I was like damn,is he for real? (Well, certainly,no but you get the point..) That takes a LOT of guts and confidence and must have played hell on Naoto..He must be so frustrated...It's damn near impossible to get some good solid evidence that would prove Ryo Naruse is a murderer..He never did any of the killings in the first place...The only thing Ryo did was expose people as what they really were and gave them a little push in the direction Ryo wanted them to go..

This just proves that whatever bad thing you did in the past will always catch up with you..And no matter what you do,you can never escape punishment...
