hmm,. i think deathnote should stay in japan, i mean, no remakes from other countries and all,.
but maybe, just maybe, it'd be interesting in one way or another..
anyway, if this would happen,. maybe i'll still give it a shot,. but i think there's only a 30% posibility that i'll like it=} who knows?^-^

It would be interesting but no. Tim Burton's rendition of Death Note will be good. I think it could be set in America. It's doable.

I never said he'd stay true to the style of DN, he's follow his own maverick trademark film making style.

Well, if the americans really felt it necessary (hopefully NOT), it would have to be Tim Burton, since he is the BEST at capturing such darkness/craziness... just watch most of the movies he ever made (seriously, if you haven't - go watch them now, they are epic)
