in this tv drama, they are in college, and Royma is freshman.

To tamasakura, 25 year old, most people don't think so. en, I really like this "25-year-old" boy.

In fact, finding young boy with face and acting skill seems a little bit difficult, because most of the high school boy or girl focus on their study. In mainland china, the actor and actress usually from the artist college, they have acting skills, but their age usually older than 20.

I guess to make everything more realistic... realistically, all Chinese students do is study during high school. Very few dates during that time period. Such drama usually happens during college.

Similarly, most Chinese actors/actresses begin acting in or after acting school (yep, Chinese actor/actresses actually go to acting college). As for these, they came from a competition (sort of like American Idol, but not really) called My Hero. In China, the rule for such competitions is that you have to be over 18 to compete...
the only younger guy is Qin junjie... and he grew a lot since I last saw him.

ye tks. Another important thing is that the rules. Highshool drama may be banned by the rules, so sometimes the director don't want to make this type of drama. But there are several popular highshool drama in mainlaind china focusing on the friendship of the boys and girls.

Sort of off topic... but really? Which ones? Most of them seems to be more about friendship and studying, though... I can only think of two off the top of my head.18-year-old sky - theyre's dating, but the main focus was still "let's study and work hard." When we were young - I love this drama. Mao Zedong is so hot in here. If he really were like that, it would've been awesome. But still, despite the multiple relationships, it's more inspiring than anything else.
