It's never too early to talk about Christmas! Gotta start buying presents to avoid getting shit the last minute.

Does anybody REALLY celbrate christmas anymore? I mean, everybody buys the little trees, decorate the house, give and recieve gifts. But if you look at old movies and what christmas used to be, christmas is pretty dead. I mean nobody goes caroling for fear of being beaten or molested, nobody hangs a wreath, mistletoe is on a kiss-me-and-die basis with most people. It's kinda like we took one aspect of a huge celebration and just emphasized that.

Hmm I couldn`t even remember the last time My house was lit up with lights or when I had a christmas tree.
Im thinking it had to be elmentary school. My family isnt into all of that. Not wrapping gifts. Usually I just tell them what I want & they get it. Also since Im religious the meaning if christmas is whats more important to me.

I didn't mean it that way, though that is true (I'm not religeous though). But the point that i was making is, watch A Christmas Carol (For like the hundreth time) and it makes Christmas seem like a huge holiday. Now they might as well call it "Present and Pine Tree Day" because that's really all that's left of the celebration.

Do you take the men sit on your knee and ask them what sort of girl they want for Christmas too?

I'm the kind of person who procrastinates until the very last moment. I tell myself every year that I will NOT be lazy and TRY to start xmas shopping by summer...but...it never happens. I do at least get the tree up the day after Thanksgiving (tradition), and string up some lights around my front and patio doors. Other than that, that's about it.

yea i agreee abit early for christmas but every year i buy lights and decorate my tree and at school we always hav a school tree
