It's very normal.
Not that I notice there is English in songs that I listen to xD
You may have heard more and just haven't realized it. When I first notice that there was English in a song (actually it was the X Japan song mentioned below) I thought I was just going crazy. Sometimes their accents are are so heavy you don't notice the english. I thought Alice Nine said something in Chinese once and it was really English.

In Korean Claziqua sing complete songs in English and they're a Korean group. X Japan sings a whole song in English too.

i guess its normal. i mean, isn't it good for people like me who have limited japanese vocabulary to actually understand a japanese song.

Its very common like yuna ito she always sings japanese lyrics with english words and phrashes
like demo I miss you and stuff
and ayumi hamasaki always uses an english title for her songs and the songs are all in japanese
but I like both of them

Well one of my fave asian songs in english is "Heart of Spark". Because Mitsuki Saiga sings.

what i think about this is ..

if the artist cannot speak smooth/understandable english, then don't use it

however if they have a tiny accent (Kumi, Namie) and it's understandable then it's okay

its like anyone said its like a creativeness of lyrics..so they put some english words too it..and to be unique for some Japanese people..

its really hard for them to say english words for their accent.but its fine as long as they are tryin..

but ELLEGARDEN is exceptional randomly SUPERB

Refer to my post here

To answer your question, it's because 1) there are a lot of imported words (besides English) that are being used in the Japanese language, so it's normal to hear English words on the basis of pure style, more than anything else; 2) they think it's pretty cool; 3) they're just like that.
