Gintama's first episodes lack humor. The show is the type that gets better. Its arcs (Jubei, Shinsengumi, Joi, etc arcs) were serious and epic. The humor is great and unwavering. I suggest you re-watch it again. You are missing a lot.

It's shugo chara. It has a very slow plot, but the comedy works easily to me. So i keep watching it as a stress reliever.

what anime is this TriPad?

a comfort anime for me would have to be naruto, not because its bad or anything, its just that i can't watch animes more than once, no matter how good or bad they are, so for an anime i can just procrastinate too, it needs to be long, as well as entertaining and comical at times... i can't relax and get into the comfort zone watching dramatic romance animes or thrillers, bleach is comical and long but dont entertain me enough, DBZ i have already watched, Case closed i dont want to start yet because it is really long. i suppose i could also do the same with gintama and eyeshield 21, but narutos plot is developing better at the moment.

Ohh i almost forgot about d grayman i sometimes use that too, its best when they are unfinished series too, because then i cant watch them all in one sitting too!

Oh my god, Aria was probably one of the most relaxing shows for me. It's wonderful and always made me smile.
