To me it would have been sad if he ended up with Noe, he liked her but he was not in love with her.

Noe helped make it a great series, but I think it ended the right way. (I would love an OVA)

To me, this gotta to be the worse anime ending ever. I never hate an anime ending so much before. I really like this anime, Shin'ichiro look so right with Noe, not Hiromi....I'm really dissapointed and I feel totally depressed right now....

I thought the ending did lack, actually the whole series did. At least to me. It felt like something was missing the whole time. But I get that feeling with almost everything I watch haha. As for his choice of Hiromi I was glad with it. Yeah she did have character flaws but it's about who he likes and he liked Hiromi. Or maybe I'm just biased cause I like long hair. Who knows haha. But yeah the ending did lack, I give this series 7/10.

I personally feel so satisfied with the ending, can't request for more ^^

Actually, I like Hiromi characteristics, she can be strong, weak, jealousy, pathetic, delicate, good, and also evil at the same time, just like human being. Sometimes I just get bored of too perfect, so delicate, or flawless heroine, which you can find from many other anime XD ... But more importantly, they love each other since a child & finally end up together, that's make things perfect ^^

If there have some unsatisfied things in this series I have to point out, It would be the Aiko's role
I mean, she is one of the main female protagonists in this anime, but her role is just too little and have no effect in the story at all.

The best things I love in this anime is the arts & drawing, very fine piece of work ^^

aiko doesn't have to effect the main plot , it makes things intersting that shin has no interst in her ..i agree she shoiud have had more screen time play both her and nabuse ..but she has a solid story with the whole nabuse, shin, aiko love triangle which is gd and beacuse it's called true tears they needed the girl with the unrequited love ..everything that happend aiko seems pretty real ..she left the same impact on me as everyone else ...what do u expect more from her ?..not everything is a bout heromie, noe and shen ..u don't seem to focus on her story ..i admit if she was just the thrid girl ..i'd be pretty pissed but the fact the she's with nabuse makes things intersting so i don't mind it at all ...u seem to ignore her beacuse u think of it as some sort of competition and bacause she had no chance the writers used the destiny card with her ..she was struggling to get in the mix with heromie and noe ..aiko doesn't have to be in the mix ..she has her own story with nabuse as a secondary plot ..so why shouidn't she be there ?u couid say she's not a main character but she has a role just as everyone else ..she's shin confident and the one with the hidden feelings ..her character is very relastic i never expected her to win the race at all and i wasn't even rooting for her even though she's my favourite......
true tears is divided into two plots the main one(shen, heromie, noe and jun) and the secondary one (shen, aiko, nabuse)u might ask why is the she in the title ?my aswer is beacause she's one of the girls with a troubled feelings just like heromie and noe ..her story is different than most third harem girls isn't it ?

I have a good idea of what this show has been trying to do so far—developing three types of love with each relationship: the forbidden, the unrequited, and the pure love. The forbidden label between Shin and Hiromi is more than obvious after the sixth episode when some Act of God has become the obstacle between the two of them. Ai-chan falls into the unrequited category when she is the only one harboring feelings for that especial person—with the hope that he will eventually fall for her. Noe’s love is certainly pure with the way she was trying to understand her own feelings or with the way she was forcing Shin to write down his love for her—curious, insecure and yet very hopeful. All these situations ultimately lead to the theme of tears—in which more than one is going to be hurt as result

another reason why i think she's there is

But what if, the theme of the show is more about moving on from your first love, which may be rather unhealthy and based more on your fantasies than on the beloved themselves, and instead finding someone else who is a far better partner and who you come to love simply for the person they actually are(as true love should be

the theme that sometimes the person you should move onto is someone who was there all along but you never really considered them because of your infatuation with someone else. The Shin/Noe/Hiromi/Jun love square can’t really capture that aspect and so Ai and Nobuse are brought in, because for Ai to move on from her infatuation with Shin, she first must confess to him and be rejected, thus keeping her from wondering forever what might have been and just “settling” for Nobuse.

should she go back to Nobuse, she won’t do so pretending, to get close to Shin, but instead will go back to him for what he and who he is, and while it might start out as a rebound, she could find that she does have serious feelings for him, and that he’s the one that truly makes her happy and brings out the best in her, which she couldn’t have really learned until she had let go of Shin.aiko's love for shen was unhealthy it prevented her from moving on ...this theme seems pretty relastc if u ask me and i like it......
i'm glad she was there and her i'm moving on from u and her determination to break up with nabuse beacuse it's wrong and not wanting to hurt him anymore made me like her even more ..when she called nabuse and asked him to star over i though she wanted to make it up to him it's like she wanted to say thank u and when she told him i'll improve my skills it's like she was telling him that she wouid improve herself to his level so that she can truly deserve him beacuse she still thinks that she's no gd for him..she didn't want nabuse to face her painful experience of rejection with shen beacuse she knew what it's to be in an unrequited love ..she wanted to give her heart a chance with nabuse..she didn't choose him as a second best she choose the best ,she knew she was been stupid for going after shin all a long ..she was living in fear and regret
but i'm not asking u to change ur opinion i;m just saying why's she's there ? but i gree with u she'd have had more screen time play(both her and nabuse) but i respect ur opinon okay that's just wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy to long

Wow! what a long reply, it really take me times to read all this XD

Actually, I didn't mean that her appearance in this anime is meaningless. She is of course, one of the part that make this anime complete. I just think, umm, she should have more impact than this, or at least, make Shinichiro agitate a bit about her feeling towards him. Because I first expected that she is one of the main female lead role as well (I judge from the op theme, maybe my own fancy XD)

Anyway, thank you for sharing your opinion, I truly appreciate it ^^
