Yes, Gaara himself was the Jinchuuriki, and he died when the Ichibi was extracted, but he was resurrected which is why he is still around. However, it is unclear how much sand control he retains, but recent evidence suggests that he can still manipulate sand well in combat without the help of his tailed beast.

Look how Sasuke wanted Naruto to get stronger and he did by doing alot of things, yet Sasuke got stronger as well. Yet, sadly they didnt add the part where Sasuke seen Naruto as an blurry vision. Also the fist tell a story xD

I always wonder what happened to Yamato on the manga since he never showed up until Naruto and the others arrived in Konoha. I thought they left him behind. The anime answered all my questions.

No flashbacks, and the end was hilarious when bee had his mini concert, getting all the clouds doubts and worries out of there system. Bee is another naruto. He gets beat up by his bro, like naruto gets clobbered by sakura. And they are both true and killer shinobi. you can tell that the konoha 11 genuinly care for naruto (you know kiba and naruto will always bump heads). they are happy too see naruto back to his old self. Now we may finally see the war begin, yes.
