Since we are getting bunch of filler episodes (for the sole reason of milking the series because the manga is over so they can't use the excuse of making space between the anime and the manga any more) I decided to rewatch all of Naruto (part 1 and 2), excluding filler of course, hoping the anime would be back to canon material by now. But it isn't I looked up the stats and shippuuden is currently 39% filler and part one was 41% filler. This is just insane. And then they wonder why people don't buy the DVDs.

I'm done venting now.

no but i wish they would get on with it, no one cares about this obscure tuning exam, it has absolutely no bearing on the main story arc, it doesn't add anything to it, no new relevant information, nothing at all! its so stupidly annoying.

tadams9795, I done the same thing a while back. Rewatching and comparing to recent standard is kind of upsetting... I definitely prefer part one and the beginning of part two to episodes over the past few months or so. Pierrot's animation has deteriorated dramatically. They just don't do the manga justice anymore. I'll give them credit for the Kakashi / Obito fight because that was gorgeously done! But they seem to ruin most big panel moments.

And yeah, they really are milking it for all it's worth at this point. Don't get me wrong, certain elements of some fillers are still pretty funny, but it's just tiring now. You'd think when they influenced an entire ending with a filler type movie they'd give up and give us the plot we want...

Fillers end tomorrow, right? 28th.

Fillers..... -____- these damn fillers....... times like these that I'm grateful to have read the Shippuden manga. Still, I prefer seein' the action sequences through its anime counterpart, and what am I gettin'? A stalling via repetitive filler flashbacks. They've had The Last: Naruto The Movie, the upcomin' Boruto movie in August, and Naruto Hiden (light novel series) releasing this November..... (sighs)...... This is just beyond milkin' it.

So, we get back to two episodes of main story and then have a couple of episodes of flashback? LOL they can't be serious. I honestly can't see stations outside of Japan paying for all those filler episodes and still having high ratings.

I like interesting and emotional fillers but I dislike pointless and repetitive fillers. I loved the whole Natsuhiboshi filler because I find the song that keeps playing in the filler soothing. I however do not like episodes that are mostly filler that makes me have to wait for another week for something to happen. I watch all of the filler episodes regardless because I love the Naruto anime that much!
