Those two -Aiko and Miyokichi from True Tears

Miyokichi is not like those cool guys like the boys from Vampire night or the guys from suga shara and some would think of him as this stupid side male character but what makes him stand out as a character is his loyalty to his friend and devotion to Aiko.Miyokchi treats Aiko like a princess/goodness ..And he goes to work just so he can have enough money for his dates.....

It was extremely painful and shocking for him to find out that the girl he loved with all his heart was just using him to spend some time with his best friend but he never blamed his friend for it anyway and he was determined to win her heart despite all this .He even knew the little things that Shin(other guy) never knew (what Aiko likes and her true feelings )even though Ai never told him but it's only because he stayed loyal to her all this time ..His love for Ai was the unconditional type..

He knew very well that Shin never liked Ai one bit and he wanted to save Ai by making her see that she's the only one for him .part of him was also hoping that she would get the boy she loved .

They might not be the best couple as their relationship was pretty much a train wreck and it was so sad watching him and Ai falling into despair because of their unrequited love .Nobuse didn't really know what bothered him more 'His unrequited love for her or her unrequited love for his friend '

He even wanted to numb himself from all the pain and spare her the guilt of what she did by wanting to curse himself just to be able to see her smile .Ai herself knew that very well and was hoping that he'd let her go because she didn't deserve him .Ai knew very much that Nobuse loved her but she asked to break their relationship not wanting to hurt him anymore..

He even took her back with welcome arms even after what she did(lying and cheating on him) and both decided to start over from scratch ....His forgiving nature won him over ..and he's still willing to to make himself worthy of her love ..All his hard work and his suffering was worth it and he saved Ai from her pain and doom..

Those two are my favorite couple..
