Well now that you've thrown religion in, that kinda prevents me from addressing a lot of stuff, since I don't want to start yet another religious discussion...

Not really, valuing our lives isn't seeking gratification from things, it's loving ourself enough to do what is best for us, like discipline and work. Why live it up if we are about to die? If you know you are about to die, wouldn't taking care of your spiritual needs be more important? You cannot carry anything from this life into the next, what we obtain here matters not after we die (even if you don't believe in heaven or hell) really, the only thing that remains on this earth is what others who are still living say about us, our legacy that we leave. If we live selfishly and die selfishly, then forever we will be known as selfish.

If you know you're about to die, then I guess your spiritual needs would come first if you're religious. But many of us don't know when we'll die, it could happen any second now. If you spent had your whole life living "clean" and studying hard to get good grades so you could live a comfortable life, and suddenly you suffered a fatal injury shortly before starting your career and only had a few minutes to reflect on your life, wouldn't you regret not giving in to some worldly temptations occasionally?

I promise you that the Holy Spirit exists, I have experienced it, and so can anyone else who truly believes and repents before Jesus. I will pray for you.

I'd just like to say, even when I was a devout Christian I never felt him, even though I did and still do live a clean life.

Do people really pray for others when they say that? It would be kind of weird...

"Dear God, please show that one guy Cuddlebuns the light and open his heart so that he may live happily in your holy presence, amen."

Hehe, all spiritual feelings and all the bullshit are neurological. It's all in your brain. All that dude "Experienced" was a neurological high. and yeah praying for random people is just weird. Life is not valuable at all, sure you only get one, then you rot in the ground, but 1 life isn't valuable, in the grand scale 1 less life isn't going to make a difference at all, hell on the grand scale 100,000 less lives isn't going to make a difference, nor would a million less lives. So 1 life is far from valuable

People value their life because they found their "meaning" to the world.

Some people waste their lives(suicide) because of Frustration|Confusion on the negative happenings. MOSTLY, they think they have no use in the world

We like taking things for granted, we are all consider selfish bastards. I think people do not value life, people just like suiciding now and days, they think it will solve everything for them when they don't know someone else is having it worser than them. You should value life and appreciate that you are here now and people should stop complaining how ghetto life is and wish it more like the anime. haha don't make me laugh get real people.

One should surely value life as it is the gift of GOD to mankind and you never know when and in which form will he give you this gift again. So when you have got it, one should try and utilize it in the best possible way and make it as beautiful as possible.

in the things we do that have purposes and the things we do to achieve our goals in life, i think people value their lives... but in some ways, when we fight for meaningless reasons, i think people just waste their time... so yes and no. valuing one's life is a choice that person can make... well, that's my opinion... ^_^

with the life we're living in now?..
i think we just dnt care if we livce or die...
although some do..
more people are turniing their backs against the light...
turniing to the darker side...they turn theirselves into some kind of monsters...
they'd rather die than help mother earth rise up again...

there's always time to do everything...dnt ever say that u dnt have tym cause god might take the time from you...

Christianity is the selabration of death!

Life means a lot to me, For we only have one life, one must live it to the best we can. Because after you die there is nothing your just no more. That is why Life is so Valuable. ( I believe one should get as much out of there life as they can...)
