Question. Why do people pay $200 for Jordans today that were made 20 yrs. ago for half the price?

What ever happen to FUBU? They were doing good for a while and I loved their shoe line?

Is it me or is all them damn wacky colors Baby Phat have on their clothes remind you of Limited TOO? (Not a good example but you get it the point)

People talk about individuallity, but most people go to the SAME STORE EVERYBODY ELSE GOES TO BUY CLOTHES!!!!

Anchor Blue (Seriously)

Why do people, especially in the Bay where I grew up, wear a spagetti strap shirt with a mini jeaned skirt and BOOTS WITH THE FUR??? WTF do you need with that? Especially if it doesn't snow in the area you live in.

& lastly, when did dressing yourself like a punk rocker/glam rocker become cool in Hip Hop? Back at home all the dudes and girls in particular have skulls all over their outfits, them damn neon colors-I mean I know history repeats itsel every 20 yrs. BUT COME ON!!!! Black people used to hate on you when you'd come in skateboarding, wearing Vans, dressing emo because it was associated with being white. Now Black people act like they've been doing it for years and still put you down.

Like crasyjak said, it's deadstock now, so it's comparable to a vintage car that's not manufactured anymore =P.

I don't know, I used to wear FUBU clothing like in middle school but yeah it seems like they dropped off the face of the earth.

I don't even know, haven't seen many girls wearing Baby Phat lately but I remember all those little white girls in elementary school that used to rock limited too haha

People talk about individuallity, but most people go to the SAME STORE EVERYBODY ELSE GOES TO BUY CLOTHES!!!!

It's hard to find a store that you have all to yourself, sooner or later the hype is gonna spread, you said you grew up in the Bay right? So it's like the Haight district in San Francisco. There's all these little trendy stores but everyone starts talking about it and before you know it everyone starts shopping there..kinda sucks but it's the truth. Hard to be unique these days unless you got the money to buy shit from overseas and whatnot

Anchor Blue (Seriously)

No comment, haha

People love following the newest fads..specially if their favorite rapper talks about it or if it's mentioned in the hottest new street joints and shit like that

It seems like ever since The Pack came out with "Vans" it's been the thing to do for everyone. You got all these little hypebeasts sporting their slip-ons with the Empyre clothing and whatever..but hey who am I to talk, I actually used to skate (but that was before it was the new hype)

I dress kind of skater, kind of not. I used to rock Air Forces and hella baggy clothes and stuff but I've changed in like the past 2 years =P. I have a couple pairs of SB dunks, some regular dunks (I have the glow in the dark dunks that are in my avatar), couple of different superstars (black and white superstars 1 & 2)

I have these shoes but I skated in them alot so they're a little messed up, I also messed up my blackpacks =P

I'm hella copping a pair of Hiero Jeans if/when they come out

I just ordered this shirt online haha

I'm not really a Jordan type of guy (except for the 1s =P). But I've dropped up to $160 on a pair of dunks. Plus some of those deadstock SB dunks I would gladly pay up to $300 for (The De La Soul SB Dunk Highs =])

Wow. I can NEVER find anything in Target and they make their clothes hella dingy . I like Kohl's, Marshalls, Old Navy (even though I think the changed the way they make clothes), places where other ppl don't have the same outfit as me. Yeah, I may go to the name brand clothing stores, but I go to another state to shop for clothes. It's easier and + clothing stores stock clothes depending on where geographically the weather is like. If not that, then I usually go into clothing stores ppl don't kno about. If I'm going out of the country, I MAKING SURE I have money to buy clothes there . When I did, it was nice to know that nobody had your clothes, except ppl in the country you just visited. It's hard to stand out . As for shoes, I like a pair of K-Swiss! They never go out of style and growing up, I stayed wearing K-Swiss (though I have some other shoes from other companies). If you wore Jordans and such, you had to make sure you were wearing the latest or else you would get jumped and out here, they used to be a nu pair every week/every other week depending on the style so you had to keep up, especially if you were male. Um...Because I'm so picky, it's probably the reason why I don't have enough clothes (well in my eyes), but have a lot of underwear instead. Then again, I'm always spening money on manga and books.

Yep, I always say you can never have too many pairs of underware? Ain't that right everybody!? I gotta color cordinate and holidays, I'll pick up some x-mas or halloween underwear, etc. And Frederick's of Hollywood is the place I usually go!
