No offense, but I really don't like kdramas at all, a lot of them are really draggy and not very interesting, and the story tends to go around in circles, and it can get quite boring...not to mention there's just so many annoying cliches in kdramas...and they seem to ALWAYS revolve around the love genre. I used to love kdramas some years back, but it's because of these aspects I finally stopped watching kdramas altogether...just don't have the urge to anymore.

While Jdramas on the other hand are shorter so they don't drag, and they tend to get straight to the point, they also have a much broader range of different genres and are not always focused on love. Overall I find Jdramas far more interesting

a lot of people say that the japanese aren't as good as the koreans when it comes to making romance dramas...well, maybe so...but when you keep on making romance dramas over and over again, you tend to be more experienced & gained better understanding of how to produce a good quality romance drama...and since korea keeps on making romance dramas, it's not surprising that many people think they're "better" in the romance genre...but then they aren't as good in other genres...unlike the japanese who have worked with a broader range of genres, they're really good at making dramas with different genres, and some of their romance dramas are actually really good.

wow some korean dramas are also really romantic... ans tats not all. some k dramas are short too, isnt some realtiy love like dramaS?

I just don't find kdramas interesting...yes, some are shorter than others, but jdramas are normally only 9-11 eps, so they don't drag...or even if they do, they still don't drag on as long as kdramas do...yes, some kdramas are romantic, but that's about pretty much all they do; romance dramas, and very little other genres...while jdramas have a much broader range of genres.

overall, we all have different opinions don't we? I simply find jdramas much more interesting for several reasons, which I have already mentioned...while I don't like kdramas, it's that simple.

judging by all your opinions, you sound like someone who likes both jdramas & kdramas, good for you...but not everyone likes both, and you shouldn't force ppl to like kdramas (not that I'm implying that you are), it's just that people are entitled to their opinions, and if they don't like kdramas, then they don't.

it just means that you shouldn't force people to like kdramas, and "not that I'm implying that you are" just means that I was not necessarily saying that you are forcing people to like kdramas...in other words, there was nothing wrong with my comments...I was NOT necessary directed at you, I just said that people shouldn't force others to like something, but I did NOT mean you specifically.

You honestly don't understand my comments do you?

when one says "you", it doesn't always refer to a specific person...sometimes it's directed at all people in general...that's just how people use these words sometimes, and if you don't understand why, then I can't help it.

either way, I NEVER said that YOU are trying to force others to like kdramas...maybe I should've just used the word "people" instead of "you", so you wouldn't misunderstand.
