Batman. I think tools/wiles make for a more interesting superhero than magic does.

I like Batman a lot, but I'm gonna have to go with Spiderman. He was always my favorite (or one my favorite) super heroes growing up.

In a fight, I think Spiderman's spider sense would be his biggest advantage and what would bring him victory in the end.

If you mean as an entire franchise, I'd go with Batman, because it's got what I believe to be the absolute best cast of villains out of any superhero setting. There aren't very many Batman villains that I don't like, and among the rest, most are just awesome.

However, I'm pretty sure you mean the heroes themselves, and if that's the case, I'd pick Spiderman, no contest. Batman's victory is always a foregone conclusion. He has the strongest plot armor I've ever seen, so much so that he comes across as a complete Marty Stu. The premise of a hero that just uses gadgets and his own skills to beat bad guys is great, but Batman basically gets away with having impossible strength, agility, and intelligence, and that itself not being treated as a superpower because the writers say so. He's also fairly boring as a character because of his virtual lack of flaws. Batman never makes mistakes.

Spiderman, on the other hand, has superpowers, but still has trouble dealing with his villains. He's just a normal, albeit considerably smart, guy, who happened to luck into amazing abilities. His choice to fight crime makes more sense, because he's got his powers to give him confidence and to make him feel responsible for protecting people. Even then, though, he's constantly cracking jokes during every fight to calm his own nerves with humor. He's a far more relatable character, and most importantly, he's fun. Spiderman screws up and has to make things right; Spiderman gets beaten and has to recuperate and try again. What it boils down to, essentially, is that Spiderman is usually the underdog, which makes for better storytelling.

Batman. The purpose of a "hero" is to solve problems. Batman is far more capable of solving a wider range of issues than Spiderman.
Spiderman may be good at beating up baddies, but Batman is too AND he has more resources to flex to the circumstances he deals with. Reinforce that with intelligence, and you've got one tough cookie bro
