a powerful defense can hide or organize a powerful attack
because of you have the front line defense then the second wave or your reserve defense that can replace your first line then the third line which i call resistance while your men defense your base can arrange an attack which can also be a defense or you can defense attack defense is the best offense |

i prefer to scout the enemy rather than attacking it at once
one thing while defending try expanding your front line then moving your lone of reserves defense is also the best counter attack but it actually depends on the kind of opponent you have this kind of strategy is maybe hard for other people to follow also try flaking your enemy when they are flaking you but never lay and wait still attack on defense mode in attacking in defense mode you defend your attacking force. never lose your aggressiveness maintain it also don't lose your cool i know this will not be a use full in formation just sharing my game play strategy |

After playing tons of RTS games, you learn the best defense is a strong offense. Why? Early in the match, it forces your opponent to focus on recovering from the initial attack, usually disrupting the pace at which they produce units or advance up the tech tree. In the time it takes you to mess with them early on, you could have been building up your own forces, while their unprepared troops waste precious time fighting back and resources rebuilding.

attack will not be useful if your opponent has a formidable defensive style
and all of his troops has the advantage of the strategic point the idea of a defensive style is also to expand your territory like using a trench technology to defend then slowly advance i have fought numerous opponents with different kinds of strategy defender vs defender is a boring match if this happen scout, plan, organize, attack, then while attacking expand an attacker vs a defender will be an interesting match in my defensive strategy my front line never falls i always regain my territory even in a massive continuous attacks though his wave attacks me from my flank or an invasion kind of attack my wall never fall because my attacker are also my defender. their are a lot of players out their with their own style of game strategy in difernt kind of strategy games. |

Mainly depends on what type of game i'm playing, the situation, and what I have at my disposal. Most of the time I like building up my defense to the best of it's ability before I do any sort of attack.
I have different strategies for each type of game I play. In strategy games like AoE, Starcraft or Warcraft, I try to stabilize my defense before I prepare for my offense. This plan has it's flaws though, most people built up their forces and send out small attacks to slow my development, which is a problem for me. Most of the time i'll have enough of a force to fend off the attack, and sometimes not. Depending on the situation and how I feel I want to play, this may be different. For MMORPGs I primarily build up on max output damage and armor. So it puts me at a disadvantage when I go in for PvP or long dungeons/raids because I might not have enough mana to cast spells or too little health to carry out the fight. But this isn't much of a problem if I have potions i'm able to use. In RPG games I just stick to whatever I find favorable and fun. Nothing special there |

hit and run tactic..
attacking then taking the time to defend yourself actually its better than just attacking purely and just defending yourself all the time... mainly if its a strategy game you need a really good plan on how to execute your attack... it depends on what equipments you have and what stats you buffed up.. btw i choose attack...ehehe |
