I would recommend buying the DVD release. It's pretty good value for money IMO.

The boxset of the first season is already out (released by Rightstuf). The DVDs contain some nice extras like Japanese voice actress interviews and location scouting in Venice. A "Neo Venezia guidebook" booklet (background information, character designs etc..) is included as well. I purchased my copy from DVDpacific for $28 and have pre-ordered the next boxset (first half of Aria the Natural).
