well, if they're licensed or copyrighted, then obviously they need to be removed, not only here, but also at other video sites too...if they're not removed, the companies which distributed these dramas can sue, and you wouldn't want that to happen would you?
although some sites do manage to slip pass these companies' attention, but it's just a matter of time before they get noticed and are asked to remove those dramas from their sites too. That's why it's really important to remove licensed & copyrighted videos, otherwise the companies can take legal action against the sites.

don't just think about yourself,
don't you think that the producers of those dramas are also pissed that people are just watching it without giving credit or without paying?
besides, it's not CR's fault and by making this thread, you won't get them back on CR.

what's wrong with Mysoju, it's perfectly fine to watch stuff and there's always youtube if you understand the language.

Because people spent money making them.

And Crunchyroll paid $0 for them, which is unfair to the producers/actors to not get money for what they made.

If you truly loved a drama, you should just support it by buying.

Don't blame it on Crunchyroll. The dramas were all removed with the request of the company that actually owns the dramas

If Crunchyroll didn't obey the requests, it could get sued and the whole website would close down.

Personally, I think it's stupid.... Without the internet, none of these people would be half as famous outside of their own country... and plus, I think even if people watched it online, they would still buy it if they liked it enough. I do. On the other side, I do like what Legend of Condor Heroes did.... they removed it from all Chinese websites, but then gave rights to one specific one (Sina) and made it super fast. This way, they get the money they want (from Sina) as well as the popularity that they need.

Because CR doesn`t own these dramas . CR removes licensed media .
Please PM a media moderator if you want a more detailed answer .

yeah, i understand that CR must remove or license dramas.
it's just that, it really frustrating. CR is one of the few sites that's user friendly and its very convenient to watch animes and dramas here in CR.

very frustrating
but still i understand..
hmm.. i'll just have to buy DVDs of my favorite dramas.
