Nope. It depends.. And when you know your limitations, that wouldn't go to the case of being anti-social. ^^

one time, while i was watching naruto in my laptop, a guy classmate of mine went up to me and started asking me questions. But this question made me wonder:
Guy: "You really like anime huh?"
Me: "Been liking it ever since i was 4."
Guy: "No wonder you're anti-social."
Me: "Excuse me?"

so....watching anime makes me anti-social?

uhhh...actually naruto doesn't make me anti-social, 3/4 of our class actually dotes on that anime, that guy classmate of mine just went up to me out of the blue and told me that i'm anti-social for watching anime

Then tell me, are those 3/4 of your class anti-social? You should know better.

of course not! one of my classmate whom i'm close with likes naruto a lot, and believe me, walking with him is like walking with a movie star! everywhere, people wave hello and call out his name.

now that i think on it, that guy classmate of mine who told me that i'm anti-social is the one who's most of the time oddly silent in class

In your case, it is not. However, that is not always the case. Ever heard of the terms hikikomori and NEET? If not, try to look it up.

hikikomori? you mean suicidal?...

That is emo. I mean hikikomori. People who are hikikomori does not want to die. You can always research the term. Anyway, let us add the term "otaku".

uhh.. so you're saying the guy classmate of mine is emo?...anyway...i know what otaku is: one who is obsessed with anime, manga and video games....
