Try Amazon, they have books as well as language teaching software (like Rosetta Stone) , I know this because I am starting Korean in January, and my teacher gave me some advice to make learning easier A good book is 'Making Out In Korean', it has a lot of newer, 'cooler' 8) phrases to use while conversing with other Korean speakers

Anyway, I know a few (I'm not sure on the spelling tbh.):

Miyanhaeyo/Miyanhae = Sorry
Saranghaeyou/Saranghae/Saranghamnida = I Love You
Chingu = Friend
Noona = Older Woman (used by males)
Unni = Older Woman (used by females)
Babo = Idiot/Fool
Taekbae = Package/parcel
Oppa = Older Male Sibling-like (used by females)
Sunbae = Senior
Omma = Mother
Ahbuhji = Father
Ahjusshi = Sir
Aegehsii = Miss
Dongseng = Younger sibling/friend (regardless of gender)
Waeyo = Why?
Ne/Ye = Yes
Ahnyeonghasaeyo = Hello
Yohbasaeyo = Hello (on phone)
Busunsuriya = What's going on?
Coppi = Coffee

A lot of those may be wrong, but I've just generally picked them up while watching dramas, I'm only good at writing Hangul so far

cool thanks i'll definetly get the book, is learning to write hangul hard?

Actually, no, it's really easy, there aren't many letters to memorise (less than 50), and it's not difficult to put the letters in the syllabic blocks

i already speak a little korean so i didn't learn anything...except for cusswords
but i think its really weird that when spelling korean words, people almost always substitute g for k

for example

kim (its said gim with a strong g)
kabang (gabang)
kunde (gunde)
kalke (galke)

and a whole bunch more. and i don't get why america makes Che (with a short E) into choi
Hae magically turns into hye...

weird americans
