Would you commit a crime if you knew you won't be discovered?

Being just a hypothetical question, my answer is a no.

I was initially appalled by Crime and Punishment of Dostoevsky about a perfect crime. But I think the story makes sense in saying that even if we have perfect intellectual and emotional capacity to overrule the law and commit a crime that cannot be discovered by anyone, the guilt and paranoia of finding ourselves in an abnormal situation will soon punish us.
