There are TONS of murderers that never get caught all the time. Just think of the number of Missing people, at least some of those were murdered but they don't have any evidence. I've watched a bunch of forensic files, with real cases (not like the show CSI), and they've had murder cases that they almost classified as a suicide, so I'm pretty sure some have been able to pull it off =O

I do also watch real forensic shows all the time, I just prefered to say CSI because it's quite well known.

But in my opinion, there isn't a real 100% perfect crime. It just depends on how thorough and precise an investigation is. And in some cases, it is suicide, but people will overeact and jump to conclusions.

Yea some cases its just suicide and they over-react. If you are saying a 100% perfect crime (not just getting away with it) then sure I can understand that, if you are saying theres no way they didn't leave at least 'some' evidence- even if it wasn't found.

Yeah, that was what I was saying.

Here's the thing though; what if they did leave evidence accidentally or on purpose, so they could get a trial for murder. And be found innocent?.. If that happened, even if more evidence was found later, or they even say they did it- they can't be tried for the same thing twice (Double Jepordy)

Why would someone like to have trial for murder? I thought that they can open cases again if more evidence was found. I'm confused.

Double Jepordy is the only real Sure-Fire way to not get caught. Basically if they think they have enough evidence and try to get you for murder in court; and you win, *say you had an amazing alibi or something that could be proven extreamly well*, and are proven Innocent- Then you can never go to trial again for that same crime.

Opening cases again if more evidence is found is before they try to get someone in court, usually due to a lack of evidence they don't think they could put the guy in jail for what he did, so they back off (because they don't want him to be proven innocent due to a lack of evidence) until they know they can get the guy/girl for what they did.

Oh, I get it now. That's not fair, if you really had something planned and you can do it flawlessly, then you can get away with it.

It depends on the reason.

If I can pull out the Double Jepordy thing successfully, I would.

Now, about Double Jepordy,,,XD

Is there a limit to what you would do illegally? I mean if the reason was good enough. Like someone killed your family or something would you kill murder them =o?

I would murder them too. I believe most of the time on the phrase 'an eye for an eye'. But if it would mean that I could hurt other people, innocent ones, I won't.

Would you commit a crime if you know that you could get away with it?
