It was a real treat that Gonzo made this series available to English-speaking fans in this format, so I must give credit to them for using crunchyroll to conduct business. I hope more companies decide to follow their example in the future. Also, I must agree that the show needs a second season. It feels like we've only just begun following the story of the 501st.

This series did cliffhangers really well--kept me coming back week after week!
When Mio got shot down, that was one nerve-wracking week for me to wait and find out if she lived or died. (I was so happy when it turned out she lived!)

I never really got into it. I just couldn't get over the lack of pants when they were flying. I hate illogical ecchi. random ecchi is fine but illogical ecchi like lack of pants/skirts is off-putting.
That saud I am glad Gonzo isn't vanishing and will invest more in crunchyroll in future.

Cheers to GONZO~ Thanks for the great series of Strike Witches, hope to see more Lolicon anime from you guys.
Though I would really love to see GONZO have plans for an OVA special something like Sky Girls 9 Special episodes on Fishing or something..or maybe like the Mai-hime/otome series OVAs. Whatever it is, just wish/hope they bring more. |
