How many films did it take before you became a Miike fan? I became a Miike fan with the first one I saw with Fudoh. Afterwards, I started to get interested in Miike as a filmmaker.

no one most likely gives a crap but.......
actually... i forgot.. it was a while ago...
when i was huge into hong kong cinema in high school, i picked up a chinese bootleg of Hazard City (City of Lost Souls) because Michelle Reis was in it and i was smitten by her... even though the character development wasn't good, i loved his frantic directing style. and the visuals..
so ya, it wasn't Audition, it was Hazard City. i think i saw Audition afterwards.

I instantly became a fan about five years ago when my ex and I bought Ichi The Killer. I was hooked immediately and from then on I took interest in Miike's films.  |

my first, ichi the killer. visitor Q was a little too sexually explicit for me, but it was still great. miike is my idol.
