Define what you think is true love. Friendship a close bond getting married then sex it has a better chance to make it but Boothe parties have to work at it. Other wise it true lust and once the male has made his conquest of a female they tend to find another female to conquer.

It seems like all Americans care about is sex. Do them and leave them. Where's the love? Sure there are some love stories here, but the US has one of the highest divorce rates in the world. Why?

When you date, people judge you on your sexual prowness and experience. Where's the innocent kind of sweet romance you see in the dramas?

I want to be cherished, not a commondity on a factory line.

What is love?

What is true love?

What is 'untrue' love?

Since when are Asia and America countries?

Fine, the USA is often referred to as America, so I suppose I really can't complain about it, but Asia is a continent comprising a set of countries.

Is there love that is trve, cvlt, gr1m and n3cr0?

True love and that crap doesn't exist in a world like this because those are ideals created by humans. Humans by nature are selfish and greedy meaning that by an extension true love is naturally impossible.

That is wrong, wrong, wrong.

Relationships is the United States is exactly what you make of it. People marry for the wrong reasons - that doesn't mean love doesn't exist in the US - it simply means that people don't know what they want.

Since when has true been a synonym for perfect?!?!

As it applies to love between 2 people, committed to one another thru good times or bad, with passion, & intimacy, in devotion & trust, (yeah, & all those other cliqued marriage vows) the bottom line-- true love-- may be an Ideal, but it is something worth striving for no matter what country, continent, or culture you come from.

What I think love/true love is:

Love is the possession of a feeling or thought in which you value over all else in the world.
Of the infinite things you may like, when pitted against the one you love, fades to vapor as if they were nothing.
Such is existence of love, a precious and invaluable pearl.

Being truly in love with someone, however, is timeless devotion and care. It is not eternal, yet it's perfection.

Asia and America are very great countries in their own tastes.
But some people use stereo types for both countries....

The reasons that they are not different is because well all people in both countries pretty much do thesame things...
Sure they act all different but all of us are families no matter what!!!!!!

Yeah they have smaller penises.

...Just Joking... kinda..

well the fact is No your wrong.. It the culture and surroundings their Razed in that judges personality and behavior patterns.

If a Asian Is razed in America he is going to act a lot different than a Asian who lives in France.

Your Environment that you live in tributes 90% to your personality. The other 10% is self expression.

I hope I help you learn something young whippersnapper. (HEHEHE always wanted to say that.)

Actually if you look at the divorce rate and The person religion, or lack of. You find that Christians sec, rank one of the highest in divorce rate.
Being 80% of Americans are Christian, it hits America hard.

That is right Christians are more likely to get married for the sex, being most don't believe in safe sex. So they get banged up before their married or do not have sex till there wedded. An so lot of Christians find them selves mistaken about there partners, it was ether sexual tension drawing them to the person, or because the got impregnated by some one.

http://www.religioustolerance.org/chr_dira.htm

The studies down by Scientist and Doctors don't lie.

Barna report: Variation in divorce rates among Christian faith groups:
Denomination (in order of decreasing divorce rate)

% who have been divorced
Non-denominational ** 34%
Baptists 29%
Mainline Protestants 25%
Mormons 24%
Catholics 21%
Lutherans 21%

Donald Hughes, author of The Divorce Reality, said:

"In the churches, people have a superstitious view that Christianity will keep them from divorce, but they are subject to the same problems as everyone else, and they include a lack of relationship skills. ...Just being born again is not a rabbit's foot."

Hughes claim that 90% of divorces among born-again couples occur after they have been "saved."

You might wanna rethink that ethnocentric view about Asian ethnicity if I were you, when the traditional teaching of the Asian family is pretty fucked up, while being humans means that we're naturally vulnerable at getting ourselves fucked up in the heads, IMHO.

(I'm answering based on the assumption that you mean the United States of America and a specific country in Asia since America & Asia are continents not countries and America is actually two continents. For ease of argument and because I've visited Japan often I'll use Japan as my hypothetical Asian country so the question then becomes. "Do I think that true love is the same in both Japan and the United States of America)

In my opinion the cultural differences we are raised with do affect our attitudes toward life in general and love would be no exception to that. Many other factors also affect how we love and how we define love. Some of those are family, social strata, religion etc. So in short I think each love is unique to the individuals involved and each one is bound to be different.

In that sense, it can be the difference of "making one's own choice based on what one wants", as oppose to "one's choice was already made regardless of what one thinks". When happiness is all that messiness in between.

You see? I don't make perfect sense when what I do is beyond crazy, to the point it's evolutionary imperfect.
