personally, i say obama
i think we need to end the war with iraq and islam and the rest of all da world, war is wrong!!! i think we wouldve done fine as an english colony but just kill the knig of england instead of thousands on a battlefield
we also need a better economy and lower gas prices and gun control isnt all that bad either
i go either way w/ abortion as long as u donate the stem cell from it

What is with this worry of Iraq??? We are so freaking worried about Iraq that our very personal lives here in America are fucked up! We can't get jobs, buy groceries, or barely afford to put gas in our cars, but Iraq is important?.......national pride is important?..........McCain wants to continue the same shit of Geroge Bush (the same person who fucked up our foreign international standing.........thats almost laughable that no one cares about the people struggling to feed their families here while the people in Iraq enjoy the 65 billion dollars of surplus thanks to our stupid asses staying over there to long! ARE PEOPLE REALLY THAT WORRIED ABOUT SECURITY????? SOMETHING SO FALSE AS SECURITY..........YOU CAN NEVER BE SECURE. Someone could attack us right now while the economy is fucked up and you would care more about security.........not that fact that we are on the brink of DEPRESSION.....you know starvation, soup lines, etc...........Either way why are we sending our young people over there I've had 2 many friends die over there for BS I think we should pull out and save lives and the US economy!

Why be afraid of Iraq.......are American afraid of Muslims.......extremists.........crazies.........lol hell some of them live here right under our noses.........get off of Iraq and move on.........We won the war on NOTHING!!!!!!

Lol Americans should not be afraid of muslims they been living with them peacefully in the same country for lord knows how long. And to this day not a single American in real life knows a muslim who threatned their very existance they are just scared by what hey see on tv and judge. Back on topic I stick to my previous point both wont fix shit but Obama will cause the lesser harm of the 2 evils.

Agreed none of them will touch the issues on the declining dollar, Federal reserve, and our trillions of dollars in debt. Who will do less damage? Obama is the lesser of the evils because he at least addresses the economy is in bad shape while Mccain whatever planet he lives on thinks the economy is perfectly in tact. From Obamas speeches I dont see any bright ideas. $50 billion for an economic stimulus geez I wonder how will our broke us country come up with that? Ah just have the federal reserve print it with interest thus increasing inflation genius.

I disagree, the first step to building, rebuilding, or improving your economy starts with improving the well being of the people in it. If all American's could stay Healthy, and have better well paying jobs, having to worry less about money, you would see a economic upturn.

But how can you have a better economy when the fed is devaluing the dollar and causing financial bubbles? How can you have a better economy when we are spending trillions of dollars a year maintaining our bases around the world and as stated the fed donig what it does? How does this work? U have to change foreign policy thats where most of our money is going to and if your not going to have the slighest bit of oversight on the fed get rid of it or the p roblems will continue. All we do is put band aids on the problem to temporarily relieve the pain just as what we did with this $700 bailout rewarding crooks. Temporary shit with a long term negative effect especially on our dollar because now it will be devalued and it adds to our debt. You cant fix inflation with more inflation and this is exactly what the fed is doing. Extremely disappointed with Obama all this BS talk about change here was his time to shine. But his ass could not even come up with an alternatitve he just goes along with the flow. Disappointing this is why I dont see a difference.

Was that the point of this thread......lol I got caught in ranting it seemed everyon was worried about Iraq and National Pride........ Its really pointless right now to worry about that.........as you say I doubt Obama's gonna shit rainbows and unicorns and all of a sudden we have a utopian society.......but dammit we don't need to STAY THE COURSE......notice no one has said that in a while.........

If we "stay the course" then we're screwed.

I'm with Obama.

I know he's not gonna COMPLETELY fix America......but he DEFINTELY has the ability to lift us out of the SHIT PUDDLE.

Who in the hell can trust McCain when he's singing songs like "BOMB BOMB BOMB, BOMB BOMB IRAN."

Fuck that psycho.

I don't think neither candidates are necessarily qualified for the job of presidency.

Obama lacks a certain amount of experience which a lot of people look down upon. On the other hand, he did choose a VP who had experience and previous governmental knowledge to help him.

McCain is a little kooky in my book. Palin is even weirder. Their methods for getting elected puzzles me because they don't seem to be trying to promote themselves as much as they're finding pathetic excuses for making Obama look bad. Secondly, I think McCain is too military-obsessed to be able to fix our country - I have a whole bunch of arguments at hand, but I'm not going to bother with it now since it will take too long for me to type it out.

Lastly... I'm still very puzzled as to why McCain would choose Palin as his VP. This isn't necessarily a matter of gender or anything stupid like that... no matter how much you look at Palin, she's not fit to be a VP. She doesn't have enough experience nor does she have enough knowledge about USA foreign policies or even our own policies. The fact that McCain didn't check with these concerns me - perhaps he chose her to get the female voters... I don't know. All I know is that this choice was poorly made on McCain's part and it tells a lot about him.

So pretty much, I'm choosing the better of two failures: Obama.
