Wat I mean is have u ever saw an anime where the character speak about how the world works or how human emotion or people this or that for that reason. For example in DEATH NOTE, Light alway speak about The world being rotten and how criminal that are sent to jail are mostly released or never faced trial.

If u ever watch any anime like this then named some.

of course, they are cartoons aimed at children, so they are going to try to put little lessons and morals into their shows. they do the same thing in every show aimed at kids. you see the same thing in america. or mexico.

i swear, at the end of every anime series there is a little speech about having to "keep moving forward"

i really like it, because although a "slice of life" anime doesn't really depict a student's life accurately, the little lessons in those shows give me a feeling of what the japanese see as good qualities, what morals they hold, and lets me get a better understanding of japanese culture than the actual show depicts.

just my 2 cents

Besides Mushishi and maybe Kino's Journey, none really come to mind.

Almost all anime will include a moral lesson in it's story.

hmmmhh...try saiunkoku monogatari...though human philosophy there was quiet put into a parable or verse but its understandable..i guess it's more of the old Chinese philosophy

I find the two most animes with the most moving philosophies on life to be Neon Genesis Evangelion and Hatenkou Yugi. I might not neccessarily agree with them but I sure do like the way they get delivered

-_-;

There IS an actual animated Confucius movie that's been out for years now. I think it matches.
In any case, Monster is a top notcher. It speaks to a lot of things. And it's still, clear and biased.
