I just moved next to a grave yard and can't wait to play a zombie game. *dont laugh* last game I played was resident Evil 4, been so busy for the past few years, so I guess I should give Dead Space a shot? Or whats the game with zombies at the mall?

Amnesia: The Dark Descent

It's a game you probably won't play more than once or twice but it's worth it. It's the only survival horror game that I have played in a long time that actually freaked me out. It's all about atmosphere.

I have an obsession with the word "it's" apparently. lol

Zombies at the mall... Capcom's Dead Rising perhaps? Never got to play that one, but I do hear that it is a good game.

Siren: Blood Curse, Japanese release for PS2. Very underrated and very scary!

Its not scary, its insanely fun! You can use absolutely anything to kill zombies you find in the mall and combine them to make your own weapons. I killed a zombie with a rolled up newspaper, sure it took 50 hits to kill it but it was fun!

Corpse Party

YES. Corpse Party FOR SURE. Also, early Resident Evil titles [1-Code Veronica, and possibly 4] are quite frightening, the REmake of Resi 1 most of all, imho. Silent Hill is a different scary, a psychological disturbing kind. But they're a good pick, too, especially the first 3 games. They're releasing an HD collection of 2/3, which are both GREAT, so there's really no excuse. ;p

The -scariest- game however, for me, is the Fatal Frame series. All 4 titles are pants-wettingly scary. If you have a PS2, a Wii, or even an Xbox, you MUST try this series. If there's a 3DS, the newest game, Spirit Camera: The Cursed Memoir comes out April 13th!

For PC, Amnesia: The Dark Descent and Penumbra are made by the same lovely team who have a GREAT grasp on survival horror. Highly recommended.

Finally, if you like a challenge, try the Siren series on PS2/3. They're hard, but scary.

I lovedddd Eternal Darkness, that game messed with me more than any other I've ever played.
The Fatal Frame series is amazing.
Resident Evil (the remake for Game Cube was probably my favorite).
Left 4 Dead is fun if you have other people to play with, I always hated the AI since they seem to waste their med packs or do dumb crap (like jumping in front of you, hello friendly fire).
Silent Hill scared the crap outta me.
F.E.A.R. is good.
I seem to be one of the few people that enjoyed The Suffering >.> twas pretty good.
Doom 3 made me not wanna play it while I was home alone. I am a pansy.
Oh and if you could get your hands on Clock Tower and D those are spiffy too.

Lets see if were talking about scary games id have to say fatal frame 1-3 i really enjoy them i mean i bought all three and enjoyed them other then that id guess silent hill and the original survival horror resident evils maybe some house of the dead depends what horror your talking about really

Left 4 Dead is comedy/zombie/fps/action/disturbing/on-turning.

Silent hill = blood and gore porno.
