Do you think that there is such a thing as "firing a moderator" in CR? Why do you think so? Or let me put it this way = When do moderators in CR get Fired? Is there a "Performance Evaluation Rating" for moderators? Any comment or recommendation? Moreover discussions on this can be posted.

edit:
How long can a moderator last in CR? Reason?

(just lock this if this kind of topic is bad ass)

Moderators in CR are volunteers. They don't get pay. They're working here to make CR run smoothly.
If there's an issue about a mod, it would be best to bring proofs and good reasons.

So far, there were mods relinquished their duties because to them CR is turning to a trash as time goes by; not to mention, the frequent updates. If not that, they're either get bored of CR or they're more preoccupied of their lives outside of CR.

Till now, I think the CR mods were wisely chosen. Well, I don't now about mushroomjay.
I read some forums about him being talked down by fellow mods.

I know nothing about moderators that handle Naruto forums and Bleach forums. I basically don't go to that section.

well to say the least ive been banned from idk about 9-10 different forums for getting into agruments with mods, so i dont know what happened to the mod, but somethin probally did. I have a knack for bringing out the worst in mods tho. as i wont take shit from em.

Srry about the bad spelling, i'm still waking up

Well, I am sure that it already happened.

yeah, i have no idea.. but i agree with whatsome. The mods here are volunteers, not hired workers, they don't get paid. Shinji picked them wisely, so yeah. But most of our former mods quit, they didn't get fired. but i'm sure that it has happened before, i've seen a lot of mods not doing their job.. like most of the new mods.. i honestly think some of them are useless, they are barely on, and they don't take responsibility, they wait for the other mods to do it. but i have to admit, most of the mods here are doing a great job, kudos to them (: *clap clap*

junglizm should be fired. i heard from a very reliable source that he started WWII, killed Lincoln, and molested young boys.

Seriously, people, it's not just shinji who is picking out the moderators. It's as well the moderators who are responsible about the mod picks, since they know more about the people and their actions on this site than shinji himself.

EmperorKorea, that's true Jung is a b*tch, I want to kick his ass

I don't think there has ever been a reason to get rid of a mod- unless they ask to be let go themselves...

There's only one answer to that question, and other users can't answer it.

I'd rather you ask this in the Chat with the Mods thread.

The answer is ~ technically, a mod cannot be fired, but it has happened where a mod was asked to step down... but this is something we don't really like talking about, so don't ask about it. Kinda sensitive.

However, a mod can be stripped of their position, such as the case if a mod goes berserk and starts wreaking havoc on the site using his/her powers.

Also, there is no evaluation procedure for the mods, simply because this is volunteer work, and we aren't being paid in anyway.
