Notorious Emo - What do you think of Emo people?
Posted 4/10/07
emo is just a dying fad..ive seen countless people stop dressing and acting that way because they finally realized just how big of a douchebad thay come off as because fo it....Yes most people who dress the "emo" fashion are over incredibly sensitive indivudals..and they often wear girls jeans and makeup and tight band teeshirts...i have yet to understand why they must adorn female clothes...are they trying to connect with their feminine side more through looking more like a girl...or is wearing tighter guy pants just too much to ask for?...ive also seen alot of bi sexual activity go on through this "emo" fad its very frightening to say the least. The multi colored hair that covers half your face....the fact most of them dont weigh more than 120 lbs and can fit into a womens 1 and 2 and their proud of that....its perposterous and sickening to say the least. They are infact a very non sociable outside of their little groupings. They do only hang out with other "emo" kids. Its nothing short of laughable to see 7 or 8 5'10 120 lbs "guys" walk hand in hand together talking about the newest chiodos album.....people who hate being called emo because of their way they dress honestly need to just shut the hell up.....if your going to dress in such a ridiculous fashion then prepared to be critisized for it.....to not think you wont be labled as an emo for that way fo dress is soo mind bottling (yes i said mind bottling..like your mind is trapped in a bottle) it hurts me to even think of it...labels are always going to be in this world soo get the fuck over it....if you see a white kid walking around in sean john and rockawear you will immedietly think..."wigger" or if you see someone in a lacoste or AF shirt "prep" its how the world works...stop your bitching and leave the little girls make up @ home their just a lower form of goth let them be they will die out soon enough

I don't know...maybe I am just too old to really understand it myself. When I was growing up we had a different name for guys who liked to wear make-up and girls clothes. I think sometime in the late 90's they were called "metro-sexuals".

I think all the "emo" kids turned "scene". No... really, emo kids still exist? I haven't seen one in ages.

i had an arguement with this one girl because she said "emo" is not jst a music genre and an "emo" is a person . and i think its wrong because.. and emo cant be a person. a person can be "emotional" . she also said that an emo is an emotional person. WHAT THE HELL ..seriously ..everyone is emotional .. you dont need to do all these things to be emotional ( eg black skinnies , rock music , really dark eyeliner ) . and i listen to rock music and im always labeled as an emo .. and it frustrates me .. cuz i feel like that girl is a POSER and the ones that think like her are jst POSERS .. i mean everyone has problems and labeling themselves emo doesnt mean that they get more shit then everyone else .. because everyone .. will get shit ..everyone will be emotional .. everyone will feel depressed at ONE point in their life .. im generally a happy person. but there are occasional times where yes i have felt down.. and i have felt REALLY bad . i seriously think that these people only want attention . i have no idea what its like in other countries ..but the emo scene in australia is getting ridiculous , we have 12yrs+ labeling themselves emo . i really didnt mind emos before but now its jst getting out of hand .

okay, I never knew that's what emo meant... where I'm from, it's just a cut version for "emotional", so if you're getting over emotional, they say you're "emo".

Here we don't realy have them... But i dont like there habit's T_T...
I mean cutting yourself is cool and a suicide attempt is the best thing a emo can do...
That's sick...
The only cool thing about an emo is their hair XD

apparantly over in here, UK emo means like people who are emotional and have emo fringes (cover their eyes) with black nails, a bit like a goth with tight pants.
Oh yeah and they slit their wrists as well... they listen to emo music as well... and also a bit of rock.
there's the definition of 'emo' from the uk!

"wah wah wah" = Emo. The people who wear the clothes and black everything are usually just trying to get attention. Someone who wears "preppy" clothing could be emo if they whine about their stupid insignificant "problems" like "boo-hoo, my parents didn't let me go to this party, and they gave me a midnight curfew. I hate my parents because they don't understand me at all! *slits wrists.*"

Well those people that label you as an emo are just caught up in the trendy lifestyle and are ignorant as to the correct usage of the word.
