ya i seem to see alot of V6 and V8 swaps into 240sx, aswell as MK3 Supras and an FC RX-7 for only $3 or less like..

-Nissan's VG30 V6
-Chevy 4.3 V-6
-SB Chevy 327/350/400/LT1
-Chevy LSX V8
-Ford SB 302/351/5.0 V-8
-Mopar SB "A" V-8

i havnt sen a mk3 well i herd of them, but some dude i know did a LSX into his fd it lookd badass, thos rx-7's do have a lot of room if u take off there 13bt's,

yeah lol engine swap just for a valve cover is gay though.. not that im implying it.. just something of an idea my friend had..

anyways, I actually suprised to hear that for an FD, on the mazda forums i read people were rebuilding them as 3-rotor 20B and some people went to lengths of attempting 4 rotors but i dont know any mazda 4-rotar mazda other than R26B that ive read lil about.. but still an insane engine and interesting idea if you have 2 or 3 rotary engines around

I think most enthusiasts will agree with me on this, but in my opinion the best mod you could ever do to your car to make it faster is to save money and enroll yourself in a certified racing school like Skip Barber.

There was a story about a guy who lost control of my friend's mitsubishi evo at a amateur time attack competition because the brake fluid boiled. he did a series of 'drifts' to slow the car down without plowing it into a wall.

Proper training makes your car perform better and makes you a safer driver.

lol I dont think its a hood scoop, it looks like a carburator cap from the old hemi V8s but it might be a blower though i dont see how either would work LOL

idk why pay when u can teach yourself, thats how i learned how to drift, i was in parking lots almost every night but i did do it when there were no people around and i had LOTS of space, but like most kids these days, they think by just pulling E-brakes at fast speeds and hitting corners is drifting there wrong, lol thos are the ones that need a school lol. but ehh its not my problem after all lol

I disagree, I believe the best thing you could possibly to is marry into the family which has elite racing history. Keiichi Tsuchiya's daughter perhaps? and learn from him.. xD

1. When you achieve something awesome, you have other people with a good reputation to vouch for you.

2. You have a license to race once certified. It's like safety regulations at your work. It doesn't matter if you know them or not, you still gotta review it in front of them.

3. If you fuck up your car, you just fucked up your car and now have to pay for everything. If you fuck up a class car, most places cover everything.

4. looks DAMN good on your resume.

5. Perks like being able to purchase racing parts from OEM companies that average joes and window tint shops can't. *coughMazdaspeedcough*

If you or I tried hitting up Tsuchiya's daughter i have a feeling he'd find a way to nullify all connected assets and organize a mob of race fans to kick our asses. Most dads don't really like the boys a girl brings home y'know... lol
