I don't think it does at all, I just think its harder to make friends that are older/younger and might be harder to stay in touch.

hell no. not in the least. i have friends who are over 10 years older than me. Although some of the older ones do become more a mentor to me rather than just a friend. Same thing for people younger than me. Some do look up to me like an older brother/mentor figure too. just depends on who.

not at all. friends are friends forever no matter wat age they are. i hav friends who are older than me and its really koolio to be their friend and learn things about dem. meeting and having older or yougner friends iz a great part of life and age doesnt matter at all. if i were u i would try talking to ur old friend...tell her there iz no gap in friendship because there simply isnt.

First off, I'm sorry about what happened!

In my opinion, age does not play a factor into friendship. Anybody can be friends. A random example off the top of my head is:

Say you're doing volunteer work at an elder care home. You get to know the elderly people there and you get to chat with a lot of them and become close! They can be your friends too, even though you are decades apart. Anything's possible with friendship.

They guy has hella stories to tell.

I rather have friend that are older or at same age.

well my sis is in the same situation, she is 13 and she has friends who are like age 6,7,8,9 ect. she hangs out with them all the time. i honestly didn't like her hanging out with kid so younger because i didn't want her influencing them to grow up to quickely because they'd want to be like her. so i told her that she can be friends with them but you be aware of what you say and do because whatever kid see they will soak up like a sponge. as for my opinion, if your friendship was on the same intellectual level then i see no problem with it
