well i see you all saying that age dosent matter in FRIENDSHIP and i do agree but you know if a 18 year old guy is befriending a 12 year old girl odds are he isnt looking for a friend if you know what im saying

so i have to go with it kinda does

I can see wot u mean there, but i still think age dont matter when it come to friendship, its down to the older person in the friendship to realise that some people will think its strange and to know wot things they should never talk about with a minor, and if they r real friends they would understand why u r unwilling to "go there".

Well, after 20-22 or so age difference stops being so noticeable as in school and even college. There is quite a difference betweenn a 10 year old and a 20 year old, and motives of these in friendship can be quite different.. The younger one might adore the older one, and the 20 y.o. might just be bored because her bf is out of town and she doesnt mind hanging out with Anybody..Not all cases are like that (as a teenager i had a friend 30 years older than me- it was very good but people did not understand and gossipped on every corner), but the a/m is quite common.

Age may affect who you can actually connect and get along with, but if that's all good, age doesn't matter. I think my friends range about 6 or 7 years older and younger than me. There's just a greater dynamic you can have with having friends of different ages and personalities.

Not really. If you like somebody and he likes you - age doesn't really matter.

Well in grade school it does matter because some people still haven't fully matured, so a relationship with an older person would be pretty difficult. But after you move on to adult hood it doesn't really matter anymore. You can be a 23 year old guy going out with a 27 year old women and it wouldn't be "weird". Now this is just an example but if they would have dated back in grade school the guy would have been in 8th grade and the women would have been in 12th. Now that may seem like a big gap but when your older (18+) it won't really matter.

This is a good example of a famous phrase used in movies and poetry. "I'll wait for you".

I don't think it does at all, I just think its harder to make friends that are older/younger and might be harder to stay in touch.

Age doesn't affect friendship. It never will.
