I've got a couple friends still in High School, and a few friends that could be my mom or dad! The latter is always fun to go drinkin with! haha

It matters less and less as you get older. Once you finish college it becomes a small factor. If your common interests can overcome the generational gap you've got it made.

Definitely not, I don't really have anyone that I would call a friend, but I do have some people who would probably call me a friend just because their standards are lower than mine, but most of them are quite a bit older than me.

I think to some extent, yes. As you get older (like start hitting your 20s), I think it begins to matter less and less if you have older friends. For me though, it'd be a little off for someone in their 20s or older to be friends with a kid that's, say, 13 or so. Also, when you use the term "friend" I'm assuming that you're talking about a relationship of equals rather than just a big brother/sister relationship.

I doesn't. But I prefer older friends over younger ones. No particular reason.

Not at all, my boxing trainer was 65 and was a very good friend. I don't think I care, if we can laugh together then I'm gonna be your friend.

I'd say definitely no. My brother is 23 and his best friend is 55

Well it depends, if a 50+ year old tried to befriend a 13 year old, that would look a little shady. But then if there was a 28 year old and a 19 year old, would be okay.

No. I have friends that are way younger and older than me. I think the tough part is that people like to gossip and criticize you for having older friends, especially if you are really young and they are older.

I have been friends who people older and younger for a long time, since I was a teen. I don't care about age. Some characteristics are found among older people versus younger and vice versa, but I don't care as long as the person respects me or treats me decently. I still don't get why people act like your friend, then ignore you. I don't get it. I haven't ever annoyed these people. Hm.
