I don't think so. I've been friends with people older than me by 10 years, and it didn't really matter. I don't see why age would be an issue. Maturity though doesn't really translate someone's age, and I think that's the more important thing to consider.

not at all. Age is just a number, isn't it? Friendship doesn't matter when it comes to species so why does age matter?? A man's best friend is a dog right? And if you think about it dogs don't age the same as humans do so why would age matter? BUT as for romantic relationships.. I would say age matters. Now then.. age isn't just a number! :O

Friendship is Magic as Pinkie Pie showed us on MLP when she made friends with Crank Old Donkey. Short answer, No, not really.

Oh heck no

While maybe you would have fewer similar interests with a person significantly older than you it could be the exact opposite too. At the end of the day what does it matter? Age is a number in matters of friendship

I find there are some surprising people of all ages. I wouldn't go as far as wanting to be their friend but if they are good influence it's alright to hang out with them, now and then. Don't be a creep thou, I've came across creepy younger people as well as older, you don't need to go so far.

No. It may be harder to relate to people much younger or much older than you, but if y'all get along, then I don't see any problems.

I guess if your in public, depending on the age difference people give you weird looks. Though it shouldn't matter, people will Judge you depending on the age difference they assume.
