I don't think age matters in friendship. It's just that the type of friends you have determines your relationship, so if you aren't as comfortable with an older person than a younger person, it's not the age, but the things you have in common.

That didn't really make sense did it. Oh well...

ive got friends in there 60's and friends who are in their early 20's - people are people IMO so age isnt too much of a factor. i think that when you are very young though its important to have enough friends of your own age as well so that you can do things appropriate for your age. having mostly older friends when youre say 12-16 can encourage you to grow up faster than you might usually, and childhood is something you should enjoy for as long as you can.

Age shouldn't matter. I have my group of older friends and I'm used to being one of the youngest. And I love it. They all watch out for me and stuff. Their like cool parents. And some of my closest friends.

By the way, you should forget about her because if age had that big of an importance to her then she wasn't worth YOUR time. Or friendship.

IT DEFFINETLY DOESN'TTT!!!!!! NOOOOONONONNONO it DOESN'T!!!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe if it's like ur 12 years old girl n ur friend is 17 years old guy, but it's not like that's alway bad either!!!! Age doesn't matter as long as ur good friends. ofcourse it somehow matters but noononononno it still isn't important!!!!!!!!

Age does not matter in friendship. I think it's nice to have friends within different age groups. You can experience unique thoughts and fun stuff you do together.
