Who are you? Are you that one little Asian girl that thinks that all humans are selfish? Yukin? Being physically older does not automatically make one more intelligent and more knowledgeable than a younger person.

You mistake wisdom for intelligence.

And I want to add that wisdom comes from experience, and witness. It's not about "physically older"

I don't think so. When I was little, around 4-6 years old, the only friends I had was a 12 year old girl named Jessica I would explore with across the street, and an old lady named Debbie who lived up the street from me. She had a bunny farm. ;D We got along just fine.
From what I've been told, my mom said Debbie thought I was an interesting child, and it's understandable that the other kids didn't want to play with me, because I didn't like the things they liked.
Now, a sophomore in High School, I'm somewhat of a social butterfly, and have made friends of all ages.

When did I mistake that? Age has nothing to do with wisdom as well. I can live for one billion years and still be an idiot, stupid, and ignorant.

I dont think age should be a factor but socially people frown on age gaps that are "huge". Ex. one poster said he was worried about his sis being 13 and she will influence her younger friends, 6-9. To be honest, everyone influences everyone they come into contact with. Im doing it right now. If you are worried because someone else is telling you that they are to young/old, tell them to stuff it friendship knows no age limit.

No way, when I was just 16 I joined in with a group of friends who ranged from 19 to 28, were all older now and a few have moved on to bigger and more important things but we still hang out sometimes and talk about the best times we had years ago.

I don't think age in an issue with friends. I have friends in 4 different decades though 90% are within 5 years of my age. I don't see a problem with age of friends online or IRL.

Can matter, but it depends.
If one is 9 and you are 18, it can be a little strange.
But later in the years it dosnt matter, strangely enough in a general moral manner.
Once you pass 18(or 20 in some states) there is no limits at all, law-wise or morally.

However, what matters is the personality.
No matter how young or old you are, it is mostly the personality that controls how things may go from bad to good.
I know both young and old people with horrible personalities, arent mature, friendly or even "human" in even a slight sense.
Friendship with those above, will hardly last for long nor be fruitful.

It depends on your personality, if you're a social butterfly, you can make friends with all ages.....
