So what is your experience with bento stuff? New to the whole thing? Experienced veteran? Do you collect bento items? Or do you not even know where to start looking? Dish!

Ahh that sounds so pretty!! I think the way you did the raspberry must've added a nice touch! I love mixing chocolate syrup with a berry syrup on a desert, you can make something look really elegant with a very minimal amount of effort!

Ninja skills help with slicing hahaha And you should think of what that person likes re; food! Then think of what they think is cute and begin designin a bento

Hmm well then, in this case I think it would be more meaningful to focus on something she appreciates more than it being cute ne? Not all bento's make you have cavities because they're so sweet and darling looking. Sometimes they're beautiful and intricate and sometimes they're simple but meaningful. I think, to make a bento for someone special, you would just try to picture something meaningful and maybe something you have in common and try to incorporate that into the design! No matter what, I'm sure they'd still appreciate it! (just make sure it tastes good hahahaha) Its a fun brain exercise to try and personify your bond with that person into a symbol and then turn it into food

no, i use to have a really and i mean Really cute bento box. It had a picture of anime elephants on it cooking fried eggs in a pan. i was soo excited! It came with plastic chopsticks! I really wanted to use it, but before I could, my brother took it and used it as a lunch box, and he lost it! I SWEAR I WAS SOO ANGREY AT HIM GRR!
I know how to make really good egg mc muffins, u know the ones that u get from mc donalds? (Except mines dosent have any bacon or sausage in it). Everyone in my family loves it!

Ahh I'm so sad to hear about your bento box! But grr, what are brothers for if not to annoy their sisters every so often eh?

And ah that sounds good! I love breakfast sandwiches, but never make enough of them ;P I think an easy way to make it cute would be to cook the egg in one of those heart shaped molds (for sunny side up eggs) and to use colored ketchup! If you really wanted to go at it re; adding meat, you might be able to use a nori punch or something to cut out pieces of the bacon... but I dunno how worth the effort that would be Or maybe even using a big cookie cutter to shape the english muffin might be cute too! hahaha ok I'll stop
