Can I get a 21 years old member here to argue with or better those who are older than me?

I just want to say that cosplaying as an anime/video game character doesn't exclude races other than Asians. True, Asians created anime but cosplaying is more about the SPIRIT of being that character rather than how much they look like the character. Being an Asian (and personally cosplayed a few times at cons), I would like to say that as long as you got the costume details right and the character's personality right, you are pretty much the character you are cosplaying as. It doesn't matter about the skin color or the body shape, it will make many people happy to see a character they know and like being cosplayed.

And one thing I would like to comment on the American cosplayers is that most US cosplayers actually handmade their own cosplay outfits, unlike in Japan where they have specialty stores they buy from. That's the reason why all the Japanese manga-kas are so touched whenever they visited an US anime con: because anime fans in the US put their love of a series into every stitch (yeah, it sounds corny...). So I think that's it is even more reason to praise the 'foreign' cosplayers, instead of accusing them of trying to become Asian.

Rofl.

You both look black, and not only that, but fat too. Are you trying to insult yourself or something? Even i look more asian than you, and i'm half-blooded. You dont even have the proud asian hair.

You're getting argued down by kids, dont try give yourself that shit.

Thank you for bringing reason here.

It's very stereotypical to say that all Asians look good in cosplay and all non-asians don't. Anime characters are non-asian but Asian cosplayer or not...it can still look really good. I make an awesome Yuna thank you very much.

You're 5 years older than him, yet a lot more years spend on thinking how great yourself are, ignoring what acceptance, pride and knowledge is.
